It’s amazing what the left can get away with saying while all the while they accused the President of being a w***e s*********t r****t agent of Russia who is literally Hitler an every time anyone on the right so much as expresses a single thought they’re completely melting down with faux offense and outrage.
Author Fran Lebowitz, who is apparently someone important on the left, seems to think it’s perfectly acceptable to call for the president of the United States to be tortured and dismembered on live television and then just say “oops” and blame “misinterpretations” and “coffee” for what she said.
The American left in 2019, ladies and gentlemen.
These people are absolutely insane.
The incident happened on an appearance on Bill Maher’s HBO show, where Lebowitz, as she and Maher ranted about POTUS, declared that impeachment would “not even [scratch] the surface of what he deserves.”
“We should turn him over to the Saudis, you know, his buddies,” she told Maher.
“The same Saudis who got rid of that reporter, you know,” she said, referring to Jamal Khashoggi, a Washington Post reporter who was tortured and dismembered by Saudi agents last year.
“Maybe they can do the same for him,” Lebowitz added.
Here is what the Turks explain happened to Khashoggi after he entered the Saudi consulate in Istanbul in December of 2018, never to be seen again.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan says there is evidence that the “savage” k*****g was planned days in advance.
He says three teams of 15 Saudi nationals arrived in Istanbul before the murder and that the group had removed the security cameras and surveillance footage from the consulate building prior to Khashoggi’s arrival.
Turkey says he was immediately strangled and his body dismembered. Turkish media also reported he had been tortured first.
So yes, Fran Lebowitz just called for Trump to be tortured, strangled, and dismembered on television.
What did she think was a reasonable course of action after making such an outrageous comment about a sitting president of the United States?

“I mean, it’s a live show,” Maher assisted. “You really don’t want to see the president dismembered by the Saudis… no matter who the president is, we don’t want physical harm.”
