The US president spelled out his position on a******n -- set to feature prominently at next year's e******n -- in his first comments on the hot-button issue since Alabama's governor signed a near-total ban on the termination of pregnancy.
"As most people know, and for those who would like to know, I am strongly Pro-Life, with the three exceptions -- Rape, Incest and protecting the Life of the mother -- the same position taken by Ronald Reagan," Trump tweeted late Saturday.
Why do many of these pro-life bills make no exceptions for rape, incest, and life of the mother? Is that the proper pro-life stance for Christians, or anyone, to take? If so, is the president not really pro-life?
