After the Democratic National Committee urged Vermont independent Sen. Bernie Sanders to sign a loyalty pledge, the DNC appears to have turned on him by hiring a finance chair who has voiced staunch anti-Sanders sentiments in the past.

The DNC urged Sanders and other candidates to sign a loyalty pledge earlier this year, fearing that some p**********l hopefuls might go rogue and run as third-party candidates.

The pledge serves as affirmation that a candidate is “a member of the Democratic Party; will accept the Democrat nomination; and will run and serve as a member of the Democratic Party,” according to NPR.
“It’s an issue that arose during Sanders’ first p**********l run, with concerns among some Democrats that the longtime independent and self-described democratic socialist, might run as a third-party candidate after losing the nomination to Hillary Clinton,” NPR noted.

In 2016, the DNC’s neutrality was called into question after leaked emails seemed to suggest that several DNC staffers did not want Sanders to win the nomination.

And the DNC’s neutrality has now been called into question once again, though unlike last time, the loyalty pledge Sanders signed would seem to eliminate the possibility of him retaliating against the Democrat establishment if he fails to win the nomination.

The DNC’s recently hired finance chair, Chris Korge, is a Florida lobbyist who has a history of harshly criticizing Sanders, according to HuffPost.

n December, Korge retweeted a message calling Sanders “dangerous to the future of the Democratic Party.”

“The only Bern the middle class will feel from Bernie is the pain from all the tax increases,” Korge wrote on Twitter in March 2016.

And Korge has already donated $2,700 to the p**********l campaign of one of Sanders’ opponents in the Democrat primary, California Sen. Kamala Harris.

Korge, for his part, insists that he’s not biased against Sanders.

“I have worked tirelessly to help the Democratic Party, and have been proud to support a wide array of Democratic candidates,” Korge said in a statement, HuffPost reported.

“I’m fully committed to the DNC’s neutrality policy and I look forward to raising the funds necessary to help whoever our Democratic nominee is.”

But liberal activists are skeptical of Korge’s promise to stay neutral — and rightfully so.....

Also it makes sense to discourage third party runs by defeated primary candidates, the most important goal is the defeat of the I***t Pumpkinfuhrer.
