Sad that a Cartoon so correctly illustrates what Trump is doing. So out of it is Trumps supporters that they don't understand that what Trump is doing is placing a tax on them. Sad for sure...

You're right it's sad indeed.Sad the president does not understand the imperfection or in-balance in trade between the U.S. and it's trade partners is brought on by this country's arrogance and narcissism,I speak of course of our wanting the monetary denomination of the dollar to be of the greater value than any other denomination in the world. Since our products and merchandise and services is generally priced tagged according to the value of the U.S.dollar bill and this value exceeds most other monetary denominations- when outside entities seek to do trade; if he wants to purchase a U.S. made product he has to purchase with something that has the value of the U.S. denomination. His denomination is not equal to the value of the U.S.'s currency, conversely. When a U.S. consumer purchases a foreign product, since the dollars value is worth more than the foreign consumers denomination it takes relatively less U.S. currency to purchase the foreign product,ergo-you can purchase more,t***sfer it back to the U.S. and easily give it the same value as an American made product and sell it at U.S pricing ,Hence- turning huge profits.
American business wants the impropriety of an embalance of trade so that he can reap enormous profits. Why do you think they out source, why do you think that they set up U.S. businesses over seas and ship product back over here and sell it at U.S. prices.Donald Trump ,basking in all his narcissist glory, or wants the glory of solving what no other president could do-correcting the trade embalance, does not know... they don't want to solve the trade deficit- IT'S A MONEY MAKER !!!

President Trump will be re-elected in 2020, and by 2024:
I won't have to go to four different dealers, to find a set of car tires that weren't made in CHINA.
I won't have to shop all day, to find just one television set that wasn't made in CHINA.
I won't have to go to a second hand store, to find a toaster that wasn't made in CHINA.
And Walmart stores will be replaced by MAGAmarts, where every item is Made in America.
Make America Great Again will become MADE America Great Again.

Trump understands what he is doing but he owns the bully pulpit and he knows exactly how to s**m his supporters.

Trump has his supporters believing that China pays the tariffs. At his last three news conferences he keeps saying China is paying billions in tariffs to the US. But when you talk to people that could care less about facts they believe it.

The just can’t understand that the Trump tariffs on China is a tax on the American people.

Peter I just don’t know how you get through to these people.

Trump constantly says there was no Collusion but he avoided saying obstruction. Collusion is not a crime but Obstruction is.

That Muellar report had obstruction all over it. Trump supporters refuse to read it. If Muellar and McGahn are allowed to testify in public how will Trump be able to spin that he did not try to obstruct.

How do Trump supporters deny the Trump Jr. meeting when clear evidence shows the Russian email to Trump jr. and Trump jr response was if true I love it. Then Trump lies on 3 occasions. And no phone call to the FBI

How do Trump supporters deny the Manafort meeting with Russians and turning over polling data.

We could go on and on with Trump advisors meeting with Russians.

Trump on so many occasions said he has no problem with releasing the full un-redacted Muellar report. Now he has hired a team of attorneys to prevent the 440 page summary but what Trump supporters ignore its not just 440 pages of a summary there’s also over 500 pages of actual testimony.

Trumps latest comment was If Barr agreed to Muellar testifying he has no problem. When Barr stated at his hearing that he had no problem with Muellar testifying Trump flipped and defied all subpoenas and refused to release any documents.

Barr testifies with the Republican held senate then refuses to testify with the the democratic held house. Can anybody explain why. It doesn’t make sense why these Trump supporters continue to support Trump. It was clear when Barr testified with the senate with this so called 5 min rule he was stone walling and avoided answering the questions until the 5 minutes ran out.

Now Trump and Barr are ignoring subpoenas, refusing to turn over documents. Can you imagine if Clinton and Obama just ignored the over 98 subpoenas issued by the Republican held house and senate during the Clinton investigation. Clinton volunteered to testify under oath for over 19 hours and the phony scandals never produced one indictment. Hundreds of subpoenas, hours and hours of testimony, thousands of pages of documents willingly turned over to congress. (NOT ONE INDICTMENT)

Trump supporters are now using the comments that oversight is not in the constitution but ignore that the term checks and balances is in the constitution which allows congress to do oversight. Again they play with words.

But these are just a few issues but the American people should be shown the full Muellar report and not just the summary the complete report. Barr, Muellar, McGahn, Trump Jr. and Kushner should testify and now that Trumps financials have exposed him as the worst loser in history losing over $1.7 billion in 8 years his full tax returns should be released as to where he got the funds to compensate for such a loss.

But someone has to explain how Trump still maintains his support when he defies the rule of law and stands at his rallies and constantly lies, defies subpoenas, refuses any kind of oversight, blocks administration officials from testifying refusing to turn over any documents.

What ever happened to our system of checks and balances that was put into our. Constitution to prevent a protect our democracy from a dictator, because that’s what we have.

I am really concerned withTrump if he gets re-elected and has no concerns of running for office again how much damage will he do to this country.

The reprisal tariffs by China are driving the American small farmers who supported the I***t Pumpkinfuhrer to bankruptcy. The Chinese are not stupid they are targeting reprisals brilliantly. On the upside the price of pork is likely to go way down for a while.

The great Gatsby is an appropriate name .The Gatsby was a fool
Economist agree that a zero unemployment level can be inflationary.
Democrats initiated record levels low unemployment rates... Clinton/Obama .
Republicans get in office, and when in office, do not focus on low unemployment levels;when they get in power they merely expound on anything successful and is popular that the Democrats have accomplished and take credit for it.It is nice to be employed, but it is better to be gainfully employed.Republicans are dead set against gainful employment. It's not consistent where their montra of "Keep a climate conducive to businesses growth and expansion and the common man will get the trickle down crumbs"- on the educational curriculum of the pie image that teaches us where our tax dollars go.

You think behind the idea of low unemployment creates a situation that no one needs a job and the employers will be destitute in their need for help,so destitute they will up the wages they pay as an incentive to attract sorely needed help.I have never in all my years seen such a scenario. There are so many factors and variances such as what kind of help they need,do the prospective employees have the specific talents to fit their needs;this is one of the many factors that said scenario decreases the likely hood of low unemploment will drive up wages. It is microscopicaly miniscule at best.Low unemployment is good to a certain extent, but what you mentioned is not one of it's greater up-sides.

Figure it out bird brain.
The demand for manufacturing jobs were very prolific because the country was in it's infantile stages, growing .Now that it is pretty much build, why any first year business person knows that when starting up a business the first think he has to consider if he is contemplating a successful business is - is there a demand for his product.the answer to this question is no,there is not a whole lot of demand for factory produced product .It has ascended from a manufacturing based economy to that of a Chipotle,McDonalds, service oriented economy.

First the unemployment rate went to a lower percentage was because the Workforce decreased because of the number of baby boomers retiring, large enrollment in college, women leaving the workforce. It’s not the strength of the economy. Growing employment should be driving up wages but it’s not keeping pace with inflation.

I have researched and researched everything Trump is doing but I cannot find anything in the last two years that he has done to grow the economy. It’s difficult to find anything other than to say that Obama was in the middle of the growth he brought unemployment rates from 10.2 % to 4.7% with 76 straight months of positive job growth and Trump took office did nothing and unemployment continued to decrease. So is it Trumps economy or just a continuation of the Obama economy.

The fastest growing industry in the world today is renewables and Trump throws up roadblocks on renewables. China is reaping the Harvest on renewables while Trump is talking coal. If he doesn’t stop this foolishness on tariffs inflation over the next two years is going to explode.

I just can’t find anything he has done, Trump talks his EO on regulation but 94% of his EO are still tied up in court and have not taken effect. Figuring out these unemployment rates is difficult (SO MANY VARIABLES) but one thing most economist will say even though right now the economy is strong but they all say we are headed for a major recession due to Trumps trade wars on tariffs, inflation will rise due to those tariffs because the cost of goods will begin to increase with a 25% tariff, income ine******y has grown from 62% to 84% so the rich are getting richer due to Trumps tax cuts, and the big one is the deficit because the last CBO report shows if we continue on the Trump agenda the deficit will go up $9 trillion due to loss in federal revenue because of Trumps tax cuts.

Why would Trump throw road blocks up on renewables, not address an infrastructure bill before he gave these massive tax cuts to to the wealthy. A $2 trillion dollar deficit because of the tax cuts why not invest $2 trillion in our infrastructure which the CBO says would have paid for itself.

Dow drops 600 points over Trumps tariff war with China. What Trump either don't know or care is the Tariffs just end up costing the American People more money. When prices go you just have to buckle up and pay for it. Way to go Trump continue making the average Joe broke. your new motto should " MAKE AMERICA BROKE AGAIN" Trumps GOP failed us again lol
