You are aptly named; since you re-prove the Peter Principle with every half-baked opinion that you post.

I can only read what you write. I can't divine what you think. I asked you before about evolution and got crickets as a reply. I've always taken a lack of response from ones inability to answer a question. What are your beliefs? Can you spell them out and if you can why haven't you so that we all don't have to guess.

Now here are my beliefs. I believe in evolution 100%? Why, because every element in our bodies is made by the universe--not divinely by a god. So if all the elements in our bodies were made by the universe why do we need a god to assemble them. I think we don't, not with evolution to handle the task.

So what do you think Smidly Smart Ass? I notice you still didn't tell me what you think even though you've had ample opportunity to. My guess is that you simply don't know--though you don't want to be pinned down to a position you might not agree with.

Evolution has never attempted to explain the origins of life... You are conflating the two...

Evolution deals with the divergence of life into separate and distinct species...

It is a poor lie that Creationists use to attempt to discredit evolutionary theory....

Just check wiki and you ought to be able to see how man, apes and monkeys have evolved from (a) common ancestor(s)...

What dispute?
Are you anti-evolution?

Snip>>Human evolution is the lengthy process of change by which people originated from apelike ancestors.

I don't know who you've talked to or what you've read but there are a ton of vetted scientific articles on the origins of humans just a google search away.

As for a dispute--what or who we descend from I think is a dispute. I only care who I am not what I am descended from

Actually, the latest information suggests that chimpanzees evolved from us, not us from them.

I didn't say it did. I said I said I fully believe in the concept--and that the concept has led to me. Am I allowed that?

Apelike... Yes... Not one of the apes... A common ancestor...

We have no dispute... Just using different terns for the same thing....

We are all products of evolution... Agreed....

But as to how life began....

Here is the one I have that say's we evolved from ape-like creatures. Now if other ape-like creatures evolved from us...well too bad for them.

"I can only read what you write."
Apparently you cannot, or you are incapable of comprehending it, which is the same thing.

You asked and I answered. You have to understand the answer all by yourself like a big boy. I said there is no doubt that evolution occurred and is still occurring, but there are some aspects of it that are no more than guesswork being taught as fact. It is not my fault if you are too dense to realize there is a difference.

Do you believe in Piltdown Man? That was taught as "fact" until proven a h**x.
How do you explain the Cambrian Explosion? It should never have happened but it did.
How did the Universe make every element in our bodies?
You believe in God, you just call it evolution. You are not smart enough to question the flaws. Not in evolution but in the way unproven guesswork about the nuts and bolts are presented as established fact alongside actual fact.
Your belief in evolution is in fact your belief in your version of evolution. It is not well informed enough to be an actual belief, but is more of a hobby horse.

I have told you what I think on numerous occasions. Don't blame me if you lack the wit to comprehend what I communicate. I have no inclination to dumb it down to a level you can understand.

There is not an element in our body that is not the product of a supernova. That I don't know how those elements came to be assembled is not what keeps me up at night. Now if a god is in there somewhere the question begged is why did we need a universe to create all the elements necessary for life when he simply could have waved a magic wand and created them himself?

I know you are a theist and I am not trying to step on your toes but to me, the single greatest evidence that there is no god is that we have a universe doing all the things that we credit him for doing. Yes, he could have created the universe but I am willing to lay my money on the fact that the universe is purely natural and created itself, no god necessary to accomplish all that we see.

Why do I need to explain the Cambrian Explosion? Is that where you think your god was waving his magic wand?

Do a google search Smidely! The theory I liked is that life may have been able to evolve quickly because the Earth had changed so much that it created enough new niches that species could rapidly fill them. Sorta like bacteria in a petre dish--a fertile environment that allowed everything to grow and sprout anew.

And Snidley you can stick it up your ass for all I care. There is but one conservative on this board who has ever made an attempt to debate and it's NOT you. I am assuming your purpose here is to simply be an ass and I can assure you, you are fulfilling that niche quite nicely.

Now what do you believe Smidely Smart Ass...anything? That's what I thought so let's just move on...

Good god you are splitting hairs! Where do you think apes came from if not ape-like creatures? How do you think our DNA so close to other great Apes?

I believe that your latest outburst is a cry of anguish because you finally realized you are even stupider than you were led to believe.

Anguish, no. I've been around you cons long enough that that is no longer the case. As for intelligence, at least I can articulate what I believe. Something I have yet to see you do. And if you have, would you care to provide the link?

"The implication is that the last common ancestor was probably hominid in form. It was only after humans diverged from the family that chimps adapted the large upper bodies with long muscular arms, stiff wrists and short torsos that help them swing through the trees and allowed knuckle walking."
