)Petey boy seems to think that ineffectual gun control laws which will only be obeyed by people who aren't going to commit crimes, would have prevented this. He ignores the fact that not a single gun control law outside of complete confiscation would have prevented this. No background check, no waiting period or licensing requirement would have prevented this. He just doesn't know any better, or if he does, doesn't care.

It is sad that a good young man had to die at the hands of an evil, bad person, but blaming the gun only makes it much more likely to happen again.

Can we all agree that bad people with guns are best stopped by having good people with guns.
Arming teachers, who volunteer and receive training for such duty, is the best way to foil similar attacks in schools.
School shooting students should never know which of their teachers will respond to school shootings by drawing their own concealed firearm to thwart such attacks.
