Perhaps she can enlist the “round mound of sound” Rush Limbaugh to aid in the cause. Limbaugh is an unrepentant dope fiend that she could parade around as an example of the damage a serious narcotic habit will do to ones intellect and ability to reason or even make sense. Actually Rush kicked his addiction to paink**lers years ago. And, he publically repented for it. Rush is the only talk show host who has written a best selling series of childrens' books, and he has taken calls from hundreds of children of all ages praising them. When parents call him and thank him for the books, Rush sends them iMacs or Iphones free of charge, and the kids that call may get the complete series in both book and CD format, plus childrens' toys related to the stories. They all love the guy, so take your vile opinions and unrepentant rage to an anger management therapy program. See if you can rejoin the human race.

This thread is about the Opioid crisis that is k*****g many young people in America. (Melania gives some stats in the video). Over 72,000 deaths due to Opioid overdose in 2017, this is four times number of homicides in the US.

When you see the First Lady of the United States, the Secretary of Health and Human Services and the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security together on a stage speaking to a packed house, you can bet it this is a serious issue.

It might be a serious issue but none of them control the purse strings and unless Trump has a plan to address the problem and is willing to work with Democrats on it then as serious as the problem is it's not going to be addressed by this president or this congress.

And props to Melania but she needs to work on her husband to make him see that this problem is serious enough for him to work with Democrats for a solution. If she can't do that then no amount of talking is going to change anything...

Congress approved the Support for Patients and Community Act (H.R. 6) with wide bipartisan margins. This legislation includes allocation of funds for the effort.

A look at five major provisions of the legislation Trump signed into law:

Expands recovery centers
Curbs drug shipments
Lifts treatment restrictions
Frees new paink**ler research
Changes Medicare, Medicaid

Opioid addiction is epidemic, it isn't something that simply goes away once legislation is passed. The problem is far from solved. This is only a beginning, a step in a positive direction. If you had taken the time to watch the video rather than jumping in here and taking a diarrhea dump on Melania and mocking her commitment to educating Americans on this crisis, maybe you wouldn't make such a damned fool of yourself.

The synthetic Opioid F******l is reserved for advanced terminal cancer patients, but due to theft and smuggling of illicit F******l manufactured in Mexico and China into the US, it has made its way onto our streets. F******l is 50 to 100 times more powerful than morphine. 72,000 deaths in 2017 due to Opioid overdose, 7 times the number of people k**led in gun related homicides.

Eric Bolling, whose 19 year old son died from taking one dose of F******l, was the host of the Liberty University Townhall. He made three phone calls, one to 1st Lady Melania Trump, one to Alex M. Melania has made education on the Opioid crisis one of her primary projects as 1st Lady. Far more meaningful than forcing school kids to eat tofu and collard greens.
