Nope, no spying and no spies. Only “cloaked investigators”.
Reminds me of Mad Magizine’s “Spy vs Spy”.
Proves positivity that the New York Times is a comic book.

The New York Times is the paper of record for our nation, follows the highest journalistic principles and when they make a rare mistake they quickly publish a retraction or correction. They even have an official ombudsman to follow up on and answer to complaints. The fact that your I***t Pumpkinfuhrer doesn't like it when they shine the light of t***h on his antics is of no consequence. If it wasn’t for outfits like the Post and the Times we wouldn’t find out about the underhanded dealings and stream of lies flowing out of the White House. Every republican should feel shame and anger at every lie muttered or tweeted by Trump and every patriotic American should appreciate the courageous members of the press who hold those in power accountable for their words and deeds. Trump h**es the press for the same reason Nixon h**ed the press, not because they published lies, they don’t, it is because they tell the American people the t***h and hold those in power accountable.

The Times bent over backwards to not call Azra Turk – the woman the Obama administration dispatched to meet Papadopoulos – a spy, even thought she met with him under false pretenses for the sole purpose of gathering intelligence.
This type of blatant lying is why so few Americans trust the so-called “mainstream” media.

So when they, and the other media outlets you laud said Trump was lying about his campaign being spied on; did they immediately print a front page retraction? Did they even print a tiny mid paper retraction?
So which is worse, to openly criticize certain media outlets or to imprison journalists for unfavorable stories so long as you do it out of the eyes of the general public?
Criticism by Trump did not harm the media. In fact it if anything it actually increased public viewing. It was only when more and more of the stories touted by the press proved to inaccurate and even lies, that public viewership reduced. The public is far less forgiving of being treated as dupes than simply finding someone has lied.
