We've done it before. Lots of people don't realize the damage that bastard LBJ did. It is not a very well known fact that Kennedy disliked him. Johnson was foisted off on Kennedy as a running mate even though he didn't want him.

I think part of it was to win over Texas. But you're absolutely right. Makes you wonder about some of the conspiracy theories that went around. Did Johnson have anything to do with assassination? Probably not, but it makes you wonder.

Do the rich pay their fair share of taxes? It's not a simple question. First of all, what do you mean by rich? And how much is fair? What are the rich, whoever they are, paying now? Is there any tax rate that would be unfair? UCLA Professor of Economics, Lee Ohanian, has some fascinating and unexpected answers.
Why do so many resist the idea of a "basic flat rate" tax -no matter what your income level is? Because such a notion would be so much more fair and equitable than the way we currently tax....and so therefore, such a way MUST be a socialist thing.....sad. We use to say that America was founded on biblical principles....yet we defy nearly every principle taught in the bible for greed and power. Read the 2nd chapter of Acts to see how God intended that we live as a society.

People mistrust a flat tax because they fear, not without cause, that it will simply become an additional tax, rather than a replacement tax for many of those we now pay. Currently around fifty cents of every one of your dollars goes to one tax or another. The Fair Tax, similar to the flat tax, would replace these with a flat 25%. The Fair Tax goes to great lengths to insure replacement rather than additional. The Fair Tax would simply be a 25% (approximate) tax on every sale. As I said, with the hidden taxes you are only peripherally aware of, if at all, you now pay around 50% in taxes. No more income tax or gas tax or road use tax or wh**ever tax. Your dollar will go about 25% further.

I do not know if LBJ knew the plan to assassinate JFK, but he knew who put him there as the Vice President.
AND
LBJ was a crook that had a lot of skeletons in his closet.
