Mockingbird Wake Up Call

I'm posted up at a hotel in Livingston Texas for a few days to conduct a few surveys in the Tyler County area.
I spent last night at a private campsite at Frog Lake near Colmesneil Texas.
This morning I was awakened by two mockingbirds dueling it out in a contest of mockery.
The sound of their battle is enhanced by an echo effect caused by the lake surface and the extreme background quietness of the morning.
I always hear mockingbirds at home but these two fellows have a wide range of vocabulary.
They are both master impersonators and they are literally at war with each other.
Mornings like this are priceless.
I think I'll chunk a few casts with a spinner bait before I head back to the hotel.
I'm working the entire weekend but I will manage to get in my fair share of my favorite pass time.
If I catch anything worth bragging about, I'll post an image of it.
