The world according to Barr...

According to Barr if a president feels a prosecutor is lying about him or unfairly investigating him he has every right to fire him and shut the investigation down. That means Nixon had the right to shut down Watergate, Reagan had the right to shut down Iran/Contra, and Clinton to shut down Star. Of course, this view of Barr's is strictly authoritarian which is why so many conservatives would agree with it. I mean after all, if we look at the times presidents are investigated it's been you cons who ended up with the most special counsels so this outlook would be more advantageous to you than us Democrats. So if there was any doubt that Barr has his head totally up Trump's ass I think this would disprove it and the only question that remains is will they be able to remove it when Trump is bounced from office one and a half years from now...

That is not what he said. He said the President has the right to fire anyone who works for the executive branch at his pleasure. He said nothing about shutting down an investigation. Oh, and if I remember correctly, Nixon did fire a few of his executive branch employees (and, it didn't stop the investigation). Saturday night massacre, I think they call it.

As for Trump's future in office, even CNN had to admit his approval rating is rising. It ain't over til it's over, like the man said... But for the Dems, I'll wager it's over for at least the next 8 years, maybe twelve.

Spot on! For a president to obstruct justice he must go beyond committing a p**********l act authorized under Article II of the Constitution. The investigation continues, even under new leadership..Firing Comey could never — regardless of the motive — constitute the act component of the crime of obstruction of justice, because a president has the constitutional authority to fire anyone in the executive branch. Not one individual is irreplaceable, there is always someone that can do the same job just as well, or better. Oddly, the Mueller report also acknowledges the principle that “general statutes must be read as not applying to the President if they do not expressly apply where application would arguably limit the President’s constitutional role.” And it correctly concludes that “the obstruction statutes do not disqualify the President from acting in a case simply because he has a personal interest in it or because his own conduct may be at issue.”

The left needs an authoritarian to spank their sorry nasty immoral butts, maybe they will grow up some and learn that lying and believing lies and throwing hissy fits don't work any longer. You don't get to win by c***ting and you c***ted and still lost. And you're still trying to c***t and lie your way out of the mess you created. No more pc crap, no more participation trophies. Act right and do right or beatings will continue until morale improves.

===============
This Comey debacle had so many hearts and minds tangled and frustrated. Fact of the matter was, the President had all the rights to fire Comey without obstructing any justices.
1. The president could fire Comey any time without reason.
2. However, Comey was fired by the president as recommended by the Deputy Atty. General Rod Rosenstein.
3. Comey' handling of the Hillary investigation had violated so many legal proceedings. He exonerated Hillary, on July 6, 2016, at the middle of the investigation by order of Loretta lynch after her meeting with Bill Clinton at the Airport Tarmac. Lynch advised Comey to call Hillary's massive crimes "matter".

Any of these reasons above could legally justify Comey's firing. No obstruction could be applied here. DOJ Barr did the right thing; reported that the president did not obstruct.

Fact is, it must be Hillary to be locked up for her massive crimes by obstructing Congress investigation on her emails.

Hillary used 2 email servers one for personal, and the other of official. For her convenience according to her, she used the personal system channeling CASSIFIED information. Her system was connected to her Assistant Abedin, and her convicted husband.
As a result, US classified information put into her personal server placed US security at risk.
Then while under Congressional investigation Hillary did the following:
* Shredded 33,000 emails under investigation by Congress.
* Bleach bitted more than hundreds thousand emails to prevent from being read.
* Not satisfied of the rest embedded at the hard drives, she hired IT Tech to hammer and pound the 2 hard drives into pieces to prevent retrieve of the information.
That is what you call an obstruction of justice, punishable under:

https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/1519
https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/1505

Obstruction of justice is punishable under: § 1505; § 1512(c)(2),
Hillary Clinton is fitting and proper to be locked up. She had done all the violations above.

When President Nixon let the leaders of Watergate continue on to its final conclusion ending in his own impeachment, these same "lefties" rescinded his executive ordering of military hardware to South Viet Nam for their only chance at the protection from the Russian supplied C*******t North. The result: the soldiers who were k**led helping the South learn how to fight the parasitic c*******t onslaught in Indo-China died in vain and the boat people live under the shadow of depression for having come from a lost civilization. And, we have these "Frankfort" brainwashed Sixties i***t so-called professors teaching in the various major "re-education camps" called "universities." Death to all the parasitic central bank criminal "lefties" who disguise themselves as "good people who want others to be compassionate like them with other people's money." But, they will say, "I am a pacifist and I h**e war."

It's funny how Democrats are soo over the 2016 e******n, yet Republicans just can't seem to let it go. Trump is so obsessed with the possibility of the illegitimacy of his presidency--losing the popular v**e by 3,000,000--and just how much Russian interference help him squeak by, that it's constantly "Hillary this, and Hillary that".

Republicans have nothing - and I do mean nothing - to offer, unless you're corrupt and r****t. Because of that t***h, they will constantly use their "stand by" talking points to deflect, confuse, and obfuscate. If they continue on their current path, I expect to see their party fall by the wayside. To that I will gladly say "good riddance."
