Timing of Rosenstein Resignation Not a Coincidence
By BarbWire - May 1, 2019

When Jeff Sessions was Attorney General, he abruptly recused himself from anything dealing with Russia, including the push to create a special counsel to investigate the alleged Russian e******n i**********e and any collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein appointed Robert Mueller to serve as the Special Counsel.

Mueller original task was to just investigate the e******n inference and collusion allegations, but Rosenstein allowed Mueller to drastically expand his investigation far beyond the original intent.

Many criticized Rosenstein for allowing Mueller to follow many rabbit trails and at one point many thought that President Trump was going to fire him or ask for his resignation.

When Rosenstein announced his resignation, I couldn’t help but believe that the timing was no coincidence since the Mueller investigation was finalized just a few weeks ago.

Fox News – Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein submits resignation – Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who frequently found himself in the political crosshairs due to his role in the special counsel’s Russia probe and whose departure has long been expected, submitted his resignation on Monday to President Trump, effective May 11.

Attorney General William Barr in a statement said Rosenstein served the Justice Department “with dedication and distinction.”

“His devotion to the Department and its professionals is unparalleled,” the statement read. “Over the course of his distinguished government career, he has navigated many challenging situations with strength, grace, and good humor.”

In his resignation letter, Rosenstein thanked Trump “for the opportunity to serve; for the courtesy and humor you often display in our personal conversations; and for the goals you set in your inaugural address: patriotism, unity, safety, education, and prosperity, because ‘a nation exists to serve its citizens.'” …

What many people may not realize is that part of the reason Rosenstein chose Mueller to serve as Special Counsel is because it was Mueller who gave Rosenstein his start in the Justice Department years earlier.

All I can say is that I’m glad Rosenstein is leaving.

Who would I like to see Trump chose to replace him?

Former Rep. Trey Gowdy, who was a bulldog of a prosecutor before he was elected to the House.

In fact, I would love to see Gowdy as Attorney General.

I would rather see Gowdy as a federal judge. He could have a much wider and longer impact.

Interesting, have you ever heard of an undercover cop? They dress, talk and act like crooks to get the evidence on crooks. I think a little bit of that was going on too. Some people now call it 'live action role-playing (LARP) Trump is a genius!

The great thing is now Rosenstein is free to testify before Congress as a civilian. Hopefully the subpoena will be delivered with his farewell cake!

I want the next judge to be a Protestant whoever it is. We're severely underrepresented, yet make up most of the US population. Gowdy is Baptist.

What in the hell does religious denomination have to do with the job if a person's religious views are kept away from the job? It's a job that demands a pure lack of bias to anything but the law and constitution.

No matter how often they say it doesn't matter, it does. No one is without some bias. It's just like taste buds, everyone has a preference. Some like vanilla, some chocolate, and some tutti-frutti. RBG never hid her bias, never adhered to the rules or she would have recused herself a few times. She performed a same-sex marriage and then v**ed on a same-sex case. She liked the tutti-frutti ice cream. We need a home health check on her by the way, some proof of life for the public.

This is a classic case of disinformation.

How is it possible that anyone thinks that the founders of American liberty, including and particularly religious liberty at the top of their list, because the majority came to America to find religious liberty, set out to create a government that would silence them from openly speaking of their religious-based convictions?

Ridiculous notion. The reverse is the t***h. They didn't want others imposing their convictions on them, which is what dishonest, godless l*****ts want to do by silencing -across the board- ideas they disagree with.

Our founders did not check their religious convictions at the door, to the contrary, it was those religious, moral convictions, openly acknowledged, upon which they built on, and by which they established the USA.

The only people who think, or speak, otherwise, are people who want freedom FROM other's religions other than their own. That is not what freedom OF religion is about.

So, in answer to your question, what does a person's "religious denomination" have to do with the job? In a word: morals.

No one can separate their idea of morals (which have everything to do with social interaction) without accepting their perceived source of those morals.

The founders of this great country recognized, and were convicted by the doctrine that, it is God, not man, that imparts rights, and defines morals. This fact couldn't be clearer, and to deny it is simply dishonest, which is immoral.

People who don't understand this t***h, are bound to believe that rights are given, or taken away, by human governments; and that is the very root of human tyranny, as evidenced by the most humanistic, godless forms of government such as c*******m and socialism. We can see this trend away from Christian morals steadily destroying American liberties.

It was Protestant Christians and theists who were, (with extremely few and relatively insignificant exceptions), both sympathetic to Protestant Christianity and heavily influenced by the New Testament morals, who gave this world our Bill of Rights and Constitution, and it will only be by Christian morals, or those sympathetic to Christian morals, that will keep America from becoming a third world country.

Deny it if you want, but you'd just be lying to yourself.
