Ok, thanks Bahm, my fair weather friend. Why would you even be on the plane?

You are going to need someone to hold your hand and give you courage. The last time that I flew was to Hawaii and back after my wife passed away. I don't have any desire to fly any more though. Not even in the small planes they can be a little skittish sometimes.

Good dogs!

If you had jumped in Texas, the chute would have opened. Or, somebody would have said, bet that hurt.

After they saw it wasn't life-threatening and you weren't bleeding would have made a few cruel comments to make you mad and forget the pain, picked you up, carried you to a car, and driven you to the hospital.

At least you have a lifelong good story to share. Hope you didn't pack chutes in the military. 65 miles to a hospital? Must have been upstate. You always need a Bubba around when you do stuff like that. Did you jump in the military or was it just something you always wanted to try?

I was an aviator in the USCG flying C-130’s as second radio. I always wanted to skydive since I was a little boy. After I got out I found a place to go skydiving. It was a haul from home. I had no one around to go with me and was the only person that went that day alone.
But the story goes on... When I got to the hospital, I locked myself out of the car. .... It was a rough day all around .

Nope Mechanical Engineer is what I was. I designed metal cutting laser machines and hydraulic punch presses with plasma arc cutting equipped on them and I even designed Gantry style robots for Asea Robotics that were installed in Ford Motor Company.

Thank you for your service. Bad day and then it gets worse. I've had a few of those. Are you near Schenectady by chance? Have a good buddy who lives there.

I had a chance to ride in a helicopter as a six-year-old and chickened out. Finally got my helicopter ride over the Rhine river during winter and it was a blast. A buddy said they had to log some hours and if I'd like to go, I could. I was cleared to go in minutes. Could have used a warmer jacket and a camera, it was beautiful.
The pilot was a young guy and pretended he was firing rockets at castles and had that bird spinning around like a top then he pretended to evade enemy aircraft behind some forest in a valley and would pop up and shoot down make-believe planes. It was better than any ride at the state fair.

Ha-ha, gotcha smartypants. The smart guys are electrical engineers. Just kidding Bahm, I'm not as mean as you are. Crushing an old man's dream of going sky diving. It's too dangerous and you're playing with plasma and laser cutters. I hope you don't expect me to know what a Gantry robot is. So I looked it up. Kinda impressive with the X,Y,Z axis and improved material positioning and larger work area. So I could just call you a mechanic, em?

Schenectady is really upstate, I did my jump in Dutchess County which is way down state.
Now I’m on Long Island, and trying to get off this sandbar and out of this beautiful state run by c****es, fairies, and liberal crazies. New York is a beautiful place, it’s just been hijacked by the I***TS in the cities.
In the past 15 years, I have never seen a Hillary bumper sticker. Yet in the past 3 years I’ve seen thousands of TRUMP bumper stickers. I don’t know where these Clintonites are hiding.

Neighbors with Bill O'Reilly, eh? I think I heard him say he lived there. Will have to look up where Dutchess County is located. I was impressed with the Ft. Drum area. Even under tons of snow, it was beautiful. Something about the wind coming from the Great Lakes and hitting the Adirondacks makes for a lot of snow in that area. I was in Civil Engineering then and they sent us there for snow removal training. In the Air Force, we keep the runways open and repaired bomb craters on the runway to keep the planes flying. I made a mistake of complaining I never got to go TDY after a bunch of guys came back from the Truck Islands with k**ler tans and diving certificates. My admin buddy hooked me up. Think I still owe him for that one.

I hear the same thing from all my e-mail buddies. Nobody v**ed for the crooks but they still get elected somehow. My guess is it's that mysterious v***r f***d that doesn't exist except in the big D controlled cities.
We just locked up a husband and wife team near the border who c***ted to win the mayor's office. Probably drug related. We can always use more conservative v**ers down here. No state income tax and still lots of wide open spaces. Florida is getting full. But I haven't heard of too many sinkholes lately. Texas doesn't have that problem. (Hint)
