Mueller's "job" was to investigate Russian interference involving the Trump campaign. It says so, read it. The stuff that follows about "other crimes uncovered" that ruined Cohen and Manafort was "so much the better" fluff.
The prime directive was plainly to investigate Donald Trump and find something that could be used to get him out of the White House, preferably "colluding" with the Russians.
Trump isn't as stupid as the DOJ, the FBI and the t*****rs in the Democratic Party who thought they could pull off such a sloppy c**p d'etat operation without the president realizing they were trying to frame him and expecting him to just sit there and be railroaded.
