If we take away the money from the rich, just because they have become rich, what is it going to do to the rest of the country.
What about the jobs these people have created. I have never worked for a poor person. I doubt whether anyone has.
If we are going to take their money, what incentive will there be to become rich in this country. They will all be moving to another country and taking the jobs with them.
Even a small percentage of their income each year, is usually more than the average American pays in a lifetime. As an example, what if you make $10 million a year, and pay only 10% taxes. That's still a million dollars. There are a lot of millionaires in this country, most of the Congress are millionaires.
I think some of them would like to take all our money, take out what they want, and send the rest, if there is any, back to us. They think we should be working for them, not them working for us.
People being able to succeed and become rich in this country is what has made this country the great country it is. Take that away and you will have people starving because there is no jobs, so the government has no money to hand out all the freebees they promised the people. You can't tax the people that don't have jobs.
Unemployment is at an all-time low right now, which means the government. all of them, city, county, state and federal, will be getting more tax money. Every job created, means more tax dollars, every job lost means less tax dollars. That is not counting that all the money spent on welfare programs will go down with more job creations.
Don't let all the things President Trump has done to help this country and the people be for nothing by v****g for these ignorant people running for office that want to bankrupt this country by handing out freebees, not only to the American citizen, but also to the i******s. Somebody has to pay for them, nothing is free.

So then what is the logic or justification to giving the wealthy more income from tax cuts?

You are not giving them more money. It is already their money.

U.S. Tax Revenues Fall, Deficit Widens in Wake of New Tax Law
Treasury has attributed the weaker revenue—including lower corporate and individual income-tax rates—to the tax law that took effect in January 2018

WASHINGTON—Federal tax revenue declined 0.4% in 2018, the first full calendar year under the new tax law, despite robust economic growth and the lowest unemployment rate in nearly five decades.

US posts $14 billion budget deficit as revenues sag after Trump tax cuts

The U.S. federal government ran a $14 billion budget deficit in December as revenues sagged following last year’s tax cuts even as the economy appeared strong, Treasury Department data showed on Wednesday.

Analysts polled by Reuters had expected an $11 billion deficit for the month and the gap was the latest sign of deterioration in the government’s fiscal position.

But Washington’s accounts have run $319 billion into the red since the fiscal year began in October, compared to a $225 billion deficit over the same period a year earlier.

Corporate taxes collected for the October-December period have fallen 17 percent from a year earlier, while taxes collected from individuals have fallen about 4 percent.

But only if the "rich" pay for it, after all the indigent shouldn't be required to contribute to their own welfare and existence. And anybody that has more money than they is considered rich.

The only reason we have big deficits is that the Democrats' policies all revolve around flushing as much of the taxpayers' money down the commode as they can, as quickly as they can, as if they were practicing for a sequel to Brewster's Millions.
