Exactly. In my small part of the world it's booming. Went to breakfast this morning, they are short handed begging for help. Everyone is working. I guess it's because I'm in Texas, not in a dim state.

Decent paying jobs can be had in Southwest Missouri, but you have to be able to be willing to work.

I've known that my job would come to an end since Feb. I signed up with a few job sites like Zip recruiter, and me email is blown up every day with available jobs. I got my termination letter last week, and Friday, I'm unemployed. But just until Monday when I show up at a different building for more money.

Wgat kind of job you were/will be doing???I'll be doing the same thing I was 2 years ago now. Out driving the roads, hauling drugs to pharmacies in order to do my part for the over medication of America.
For the last 2 years, I've been working for "the company" making sure the drugs get on the road. "The company" filed bankruptcy, and sold out, so the drugs, and other freight went to another company.
I'm getting my old route back plus extras in the warehouse/office.
I never thought I'd say it, but I'm ready to hit the road again! Just me, my radio, and people I haven't seen in a couple of years.
It might not last though....
I was there earlier signing paperwork, and it was mentioned that they might want to bring me "inside" to help run things.
I h**e it where I'm at because of poor management, and lack of support above me, but maybe this time....
