Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has never been afraid to boast about his evangelical Christian worldview.
“[W]hat’s the cadet motto at West Point? You will not lie, c***t, or steal, or tolerate those who do. I was the CIA director. We lied, we c***ted, we stole. It’s—it was like—we had entire training courses. It reminds you of the glory of the American experiment.”
Now, does that sound like the comments of someone who is living his faith in Christ? But this is even more problematic when one considers the fact the U.S. is gearing up for military engagements in any one of a handful of locations around the world—and it’s his job to be the last check against war.
