Correct me if I am wrong, but you are actually saying with a straight face that President Obama, when dealing with Republicans, his sworn political enemies, was always fair, civil, and respectful ? As compared to that Ogre Donald Trump who always has a chip on his shoulder, and wants to knock the teeth out of the next Democrat he sees.

So now lets us look at President Barak Hussein Obama in those first two years. You need to remember the political conditions of the time. Obama, Reid, and Pelosi ruled the political universe. They had the White House and large majorities in both Houses. Their allies in the press openly predicted the death of the Republican Party. That is how bad things were for the lowly GOP. They did not get no respect.

So how did President Obama decide to treat Republicans ? In 2010 he said "we can't have special interests sitting shotgun. We gotta have middle class families up in front. We don't mind the Republicans joining us. They can come for the ride, but they gotta sit in back."

Now to me, that pretty much meets the definition of peevishness, but come on when you are on top of the World it is hard not to get a little peevish and arrogant towards your weak and h**ed enemies. When your enemies get stronger you will compromise and show them more respect in order to get things done for the good of America, right ? I mean as much as I disliked Bill Clinton, he showed political sk**l in working with Gingrich as the GOP became stronger, and America benefited from that partnership.

padremike.....No way you are Alt-Right...the left just throws phrases around as if anybody right of Karl Marx is "Alt-Right"....in actuality Alt-Right was a phrase coined by Richard Spencer in 2010 to describe what to call his Neo-N**i .
