My wish, with leftoid talking heads incessant hyperbole about 'walls', is for them to relocate their mouths and their walls to our southern border! My goodness, it would be 70' high and secure our entire border.

I wonder if it is worth it to sell your soul for money ? Obviously for some, the answer is HELL YES !

I'm just leasing my soul out. I reclaim it at the end of the lease. The money is great and I never feel guilty.

Well I know the Devil pays great or all of these walls are closing in skunks would not be rolling in dough, but who allows you to rent out your Soul and how well do they pay ? I am looking for extra money this year since my new job doesn't pay as well as my old job.

It doesn't pay as well as the sale to the devil, but it's great money and the women are at least 8's and higher. I took out a twenty year lease. Only catch is that I have to out live the lease. You have to be at least 70 years old to lease a soul.
The devil is in the details.

There was a Twilight Zone where a rich old guy tried to make a deal with the devil. He wanted to go back in time and make his money all over again, but this time armed with the knowledge he already had about what was going to happen. However, since he was a real nasty guy, the Devil informed him that he already owned his Soul. However, the Devil was accommodating, and made the deal for the money the guy already had.

The man said he wanted to have his present knowledge and look like he did back in those days. So he looked young and began making oil deals based on his knowledge of various oil fields he knew in the next few years would come into production. However, while he looked young, under the skin he was still an old man, and his body and brain failed him on key details so in the end he failed in his deals. He went back to the present and was a Janitor working for a man he had previously thrown out of his office in the previous reality. The present changed because he had gone back in time and affected it.

The detail of the Devil telling him that he already owned his soul always struck me as funny.

Uh oh, what's the penalty for me to break my lease?
I'll re-read my copy of The Art of The Deal.
I'm sure that a 20 year lease with the devil is addressed.

You never said it was the devil that you leased it to. I thought perhaps it was some evil American Corporation. For 43 years I have leased my broken back to various Corporate Masters. I don't get the same rent I used to get when it was younger. I have tried to put a fresh coat of paint on it and roll back the odometer, but no good.

I must have done something right.
I worked for pricks, and I was a prick when they worked for me, but looking back I wouldn't change a thing. My mistakes and successes are the brew that is my essence today. I really don't have an explanation for my lifestyle today given the history of a wild, dangerous life that should have gotten me arrested or murdered. I emerged unscathed, and that is unfair in the moral sense, but just the outcome of a red tooth and claw reality.

Yes, then the torment begins, as you blame everyone around and even some you have never met. There always has to be someone else to blame. Then in the dark of night and you are all alone that tiny small voice, the inner you, the real you hear the VERDICT, It is I and I alone that did this. You know in your heart of hearts, I alone did this deed, what do you do then. For I have sought to destroy that which I did not build, simply to destroy it, not to make something better, simply too prevent others from a benefit of a free right that belongs to everyone. How can I spin this, How can I make this some else's lie. This has been going on in this Nation for years, a small group of people determined to deprive others of their rights granted by GOD to all men. It is time we the people STAND and tell the LIARS we know who you are.

Working your butt off and depending on meritocracy doesn't make you a bad person, Mikey. IMO.

Yep. A perfect representation of ENVY. Which is why it's one of the 7 deadly sins

Aw, it was just the life I've had, day to day, things come along, people go, not really planning anything just taking opportunities without hesitation.
I started working at 9 years old and retired about 8 years ago. I look fondly on my retirement, not my childhood.
And, I respect your opinion.
