The plans to turn this country into a dictatorship has been going on for decades and has been the work of many who each chip away at our rights ever since the 16th amendment gave them their biggest tool. Even if they could not outlaw something, they could tax it. You can keep ignoring it to you peril and say that since one person has not done all of it, it can't be part of a greater plan, but you will see it come to fruition within a couple decades.

I was upset when W signed away some of our rights, but he did not sign a bill that allows indefinite detainment under the accusation of terrorism, not even the charge, the accusation. That was Obama. And it was Obama that increased the scope of the Patriot Act.
So does the fact that Republicans were complicit make it OK what Obama is doing or is it OK simply because he is a Democrat?
