In the Brouhaha over Ilhan Omar and her comments about 9/11, remember Trump's callous words on that dreadful day

Shortly after the towers fell, Trump was bragging about how his building, 40 Wall Street, was now the tallest in Manhattan (a lie): “I mean, 40 Wall Street actually was the second-tallest building in downtown Manhattan, and it was actually before the World Trade Center the tallest, and then when they built the World Trade Center it became known as the second-tallest, and now it’s the tallest,” he said.

I beg of you blind dev**ees of Trump to explain away this extreme lack of humanity and compassion for thousands that lost their lives that day. It was all about Trump. You have to be human enough to know such a statement goes to the heart of who is: an egotistical, no-moral-compass monster. What if Omar had bragged like that back then, had she been there? Lynch her, right? No hole deep enough on earth to hide from the righteous wrath of any American. But Trump says it and his base shrugs. Locker room talk? Just being a businessman? Nothing like free advertising.

Then he goes on to lie about Muslims dancing in the streets over the destruction of the World Trade Center. Absolutely no evidence this happened. The man has no soul. Yet that was not enough for this cowardly and sick man who knows only one rule: wh**ever benefits himself. Here is more insufferable exploitation of 9/11: claiming he cleared rubble from the buildings (he did not), that he saw people jumping from the towers (he was four miles away), and that he lost “hundreds” of friends that day (no proof or names, not a single reference to anyone at any time). He also, in true Trumpian fashion, claimed he donated $10,000 to 9/11 victims (no record of it). Personal gain is his credo. It Trumps everything else in the world for him.

But wait! Jerry Nadler, instrumental in getting funding for small business grants for victims of 9/11, said, “Donald Trump actually took a $150,000 grant from the Bush administration. They let him take a $150,000 grant meant for small businessmen for 40 Wall Street, undamaged and unaffected. Essentially, he stole $150,000 from some small businessperson who could have used it to rehabilitate himself. … He has no moral authority to be talking about 9/11 at all.”

Quote is taken out of context! He actually was asked a question about precautions he was taken for his building. About the WTC he said "I cannot believe the sight of Lower Manhattan without the World Trade Center and therefore we have to rebuild. Not necessarily in that form, but we have to rebuild at least as good and maybe better," Trump said in an interview with NBC News on September 13, 2001. And you can listen to his remarks, as recorded, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PcKlPhFIE7w He goes on to say "You need to take a hard line on this, it simply can not be tolerated."

Almighty God, have mercy on this ignorant fool. H**e has overcome him, h**e gushes from his forked tongue, his heart pumps h**e through his veins, h**e oozes from every pore of his tired old body. What was it you said, Lord? Ah, yes, It is not what goes into the mouth that defiles a person, but what comes out of the mouth . . . . what comes out of the mouth proceeds from the heart, and this defiles a person. Bless him Father, for he has sinned.
Amen.

Conservative's desperately needed boogymen to keep their pitiful ideology of h**e going. The only thing Omar is guilty of is telling the t***h--especially when it comes to Isreal and their dealing with the Palestinian people. I just find it sadly ironic that a people who were so victimized by religious hatred are so willing to apply the same principles to others.

If you could only stop projecting. Good Lord, it is dizzying to read your rants, same s**t over and over and over.

Tell ya what I'd love to see, a debate. Candace Owens vs Ilhan Omar on what it means to be an American.

Candace Owens had this to say: http://tennesseestar.com/2019/02/14/candace-owens-commentary-ilhan-omar-and-aoc-are-forging-the-anti-american-party/

The Democrat Party’s new standard bearers are dropping any pretense of patriotism.

Representatives Ilhan Omar and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (“AOC”) have proudly positioned themselves as the leaders of an anti-American political faction that seeks its mandate not from American citizens, but from foreigners.

In AOC’s nightmarish vision of a post-American society, the democratic will of the American people holds no force. Race — filtered through the lens of her bizarre, fantasy version of the demographic history of the American continent — is what determines a person’s right to be in the country and which laws can be applied to them.

“We are standing on native land. And Latino people are descendants of native people. And we cannot be told, and criminalized, simply for our identity or our status. Period,” Ocasio-Cortez told her followers last week at a rally to highlight her call for Congress to cut funding for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Ilhan Omar was also on hand. The freshman Democrat congresswoman is no stranger to controversial and h**eful comments, having recently equated the democratic Jewish state of Israel to the terror-supporting Islamist regime of Iran, repeatedly libeled a group of Catholic teenagers from Covington, Kentucky, and accused pro-Israel politicians of being bought off by Jewish activists. And although Omar apologized for her latest anti-Semitic Twitter tirade in the face of pressure from her party bosses, it was half-hearted at best.

Omar might h**e Jews, but she loves i*****l a***ns. Instead of, say, showing support for the angel families who have lost loved ones at the hands of i*****l a***ns, Rep. Omar offered teary-eyed poetic odes to the i*****l i*******ts who are actively trying to breach our borders.

To members of the anti-American faction of the Democrat Party, any immigration enforcement is inherently invalid. “American” simply means someone who will support Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, and their ilk, as they’ve made clear with their repeated references to i*****l a***ns as “Americans.”

Democrats are so entranced by this open-borders rhetoric that they even proposed slashing the number of detention beds for i*****l i*******ts, a move that would have forced ICE to release thousands of criminals — including many who have been convicted of violent crimes, including murder — onto America’s streets.

When “Abolish ICE” emerged as a rallying cry for radical Democrats during the 2018 midterm e******ns, it was generally recognized as a tremendous political liability. Since then, however, the idea has continued to find support among the Party’s most extreme elements as the logical endpoint of “resisting” President Trump’s efforts to secure the border and enforce the law.

That’s why “Abolish ICE” is now being rebranded as “Defund H**e,” a softer-sounding slogan that also mimics conservatives’ effective messaging about defunding Planned Parenthood.

Last month, hundreds of thousands of pro-life activists came to Washington to urge their representatives to defund Planned Parenthood and stand up to the left’s barbaric push to legalize infanticide. On Thursday, Omar and Ocasio-Cortez, the new faces of the Democrat Party, stood before a pitiful crowd on the Capitol steps pledging to defund our immigration enforcement agencies.

“We’re here to say that an agency like ICE, which repeatedly and systematically violates human rights, does not deserve a dime. They do not deserve a dime,” Ocasio-Cortez said.

Some Democrats are still trying to pretend that they have their own constituents’ interests at heart, but the growing influence of unabashed anti-Americans such as Omar and AOC within the Party is making that increasingly difficult.

You do know what projecting means don't you? "Argument by projection is when someone makes a point, but is actually against it...to hold the political position of your opponent."

So if I am the one who is projecting than my actual argument is that we liberals need boogymen such as Muslims, Hispanics, and B****s to advance our h**e-filled agenda.

So my only assumption is that you are either trying to deflect from your own faults or are simply too ignorant to understand the rhetoric that you bandy about. I'll leave the choice up to you as it makes no difference to me...
