Most recently, she cosponsored a bicameral bill to end Donald Trump’s Muslim ban. And she only began her job in January.

Which American politician publicly referred to the terrorists who carried out the 9/11 attacks as “those folks who committed this act,” seemingly downplaying its horrors? Was it Minnesota representative Ilhan Omar? No. Try George W Bush.

Who said that “the Stephen Miller approach to immigration has no viability”, adding that “Mr Miller is well known…for having views that are outside the mainstream,” suggesting Miller is in reality a political extremist who doesn’t belong in government? Was it Ilhan Omar? Wrong again. It was the Republican Senator Lindsey Graham.

And here is Trump addressing Jewish supporters in America saying "your prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu," assumes that Jewish Americans carry a dual loyalty to both Israel and the United States. This has been attributed to Ilhan Omar.

And here is the BIG ONE: The latest manufactured outrage derives from a speech Omar gave last month to the Los Angeles branch of the Council on American-Islamic Relations. As the Washington Post noted, Omar’s 23 March speech was broadcast live (including on Fox News Online), but became controversial only days ago. In one phrase of her 20-minute talk, which was focused on Muslim Americans and civil rights, Omar says “some people did something” when referring to the September 11 attacks. (George W. said “those folks who committed this act.”) It’s abundantly clear by the context of the talk that Omar was saying that the actions of a few have distressingly enabled the threat to the civil rights of so many. To allege that Omar was minimizing the horrors of September 11 is to deliberately misconstrue the point of her comments. For those Christians and others who bemoan cherry-picked verses out of context, you should be sympathetic.

Ilhan Omar brought all this stuff on herself because she can't keep her mouth shut and can't keep her foot out of her mouth from saying anti-semitic things about Jews if there's anyone to put blame on its her and for the leadership and her party for not calling her out on it because there's no room for bigotry on either side of the aisle it doesn't matter which party you're from I'm not down with it myself. She needs to be excoriated and run from office she has no reason to be even anywhere near government her and people of her ilk need to stay away from all powers of government because all she seeks is power she doesn't care about her constituents and she doesn't care about America. And neither does the left the left h**es America so much that they won't even allow the i*****l i*******ts to come into their Sanctuary cities now they want to bemoan that! It's funny how they talk about open borders it's just not their open borders they don't want to be anywhere near these i*****l a***ns but they don't mind if they let him free on your streets though talk about the hypocrisy of the Liberals in this country!

With all the h**e so easily tossed about by the right wing and the orange ding dong they v**ed for, Young Omar may have to have more secret service protection a/c all the INCREASED death treats she has gotten after the orange fools tirade about her none inflammatory actions..

While the right wing is never slow to toss out the h**e remarks and threats, one would think some orange i***t who thinks he is a world leader would know better then to bring down death treats on a federal legislature..

ep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) said she has seen a significant increase in threats to her life since President Donald Trump tweeted a misleading video about comments she made about the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

“Since the President’s tweet Friday evening, I have experienced an increase in direct threats on my life ― many directly referencing or replying to the President’s video. I thank the C*****l P****e, the FBI, the House Sergeant at Arms, and the Speaker of the House for their attention to these threats,” the congresswoman said in a statement Sunday night.

The video Trump tweeted showed Omar speaking at an event last month for the Council on American-Islamic Relations, a Muslim civil rights organization. Omar is one of the first Muslim women elected to Congress. In referring to 9/11, she said CAIR was formed “because they recognized that some people did something.” The video then cuts to footage of the burning twin towers. With the video, Trump wrote, “WE WILL NEVER FORGET!”

Omar’s office said many of the death threats have directly referenced the president’s video. It also said the congresswoman “receives daily death threats ― almost all of them threatening to k**l her because of her religion.”

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Sunday that she spoke with the House Sergeant at Arms about Omar’s safety and security.

In her remarks for CAIR, Omar was not dismissing the horror of 9/11, as some have alleged, but rather making a point about discrimination against a large group of innocent people for an act perpetrated by a few individuals. From her actual remarks:

For far too long, we have lived with the discomfort of being a second-class citizen and, frankly, I’m tired of it, and every single Muslim in this country should be tired of it.

CAIR was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people did something and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties. So you can’t just say that today someone is looking at me strange and that I am trying to make myself look pleasant. You have to say that, “This person is looking at me strange. I am not comfortable with it, and I am going to talk to them and ask them why.” Because that is the right you have.”

Omar’s comments began to receive wider attention after Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-Texas) tweeted them on April 9. The next day, “Fox & Friends” host Brian Kilmeade played them and said, “You have to wonder if she’s an American first.” On April 11, there was an incendiary New York Post cover. And then came Trump’s tweet the following day.

Why are you defending the indefensible she said the most anti-Semitic things about Jews and you just going to let her slide on that right I didn't let Trump slide on his neo-N**i ship that went down during Charlottesville I was against that just like I'm against her saying what she said all right there's no difference than what Donald Trump did on that day than what she did okay so don't sit here and try to Virtue signal to everybody else all right wrong is wrong it doesn't matter which party you're in if you're too dumb to figure that out then you probably need to get out of politics altogether or you just don't know how government is supposed to be ran!
