There is a lot of posting about people committing treason. Treason is the only crime defined by the US Constitution. Most of what posters call treason is simply a difference of political opinion
US Constitution Article II sec.4
The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors
US Constitution Article III Sec 3
Treason against the United States shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court

Is the same true for "high crimes and misdemeanors" and "bribery"?

Bribery is not mentioned in the Constitution.

https://www.archives.gov/founding-docs/constitution-transcriptYup, the troll is right, The U.S. Constitution says not a damned thing about "The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason,
Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors." under section 4 of article II... Oh wait... It does, my bad. And they keep claiming that they know the Constitution so well and only they adhere to it. How can you adhere to something you aren't even aware of by any means other than accidentally?

S**t. I meant to delete that. I realized I was mistaken, and neglected to delete my obviously misinformed post. Good catch. Next time I won't try to do several things at once.
By the way, I am no troll. Like anyone, I occasionally make a mistake when I am rushed.

Since Obammy is a Muslim, he should be charged for his crimes under Sharia Law.
So never mind the treason.
He would be stoned to death for being a f*ggot.

You keep calling others troll. Yet you are as purposely offensive as trolls tend to be.

This time he caught my mistake. I thought I had deleted that post when I realized I was mistaken but I was doing several things at once and it slipped by. Even the great Smedley screws up every so often.

Everyone screws up occasionally including the high and mighty ‘fact’ guy CSM. Its no basis for calling someone a troll.

It's called projection. Trolls often accuse others of being one. Thank you anyway, ma'am.

I'm still trying to figure out why those defense contractors who got caught giving money to the Taliban and those Americans who joined ISIS, were not charged with treason. What are high crimes anyway?

Giving money to the Taliban and joining ISIS is definitely treason. I believe this occurred on Obama's watch? The Bergdahl thing did.

I call him a troll because that is what he is. He argues only for the sake of argument and typically not based on facts and rarely offers any facts to support his argument, therefore a troll. Of course, to play devils advocate, in his defense, you can't provide facts to support your argument if none exist.

Your opinion is not fact. Thats something you need to come to terms with.

You are a liar. I provide links for most of my arguments.
Oh, I'm not supposed to call you a liar. Excuse me, you are
veracity challenged.
