1st Obama Associate Indicted – Who Will Be Next?
By David Jolly - April 13, 2019

Greg Craig had served as Director of Policy Planning for former President Bill Clinton from July 1997 to Sept 1998, as well as on the staff of former Sen. Ted Kenney.

On the day Barack Obama was sworn into office, January 20, 2009, he made Craig his White House Counsel, but Craig only served in that position until January 3, 2010.

Since that time, Craig has worked as a Washington DC based attorney.

On Wednesday, it was reported that former White House Counsel Greg Craig was expected to be indicted soon, and believe it or not, the reports said it had to do with his dealings with the Ukraine. According to Newsmax:

Trending: The Problem with Pete Buttigieg: His Sexual Conduct (Part I)
“Greg Craig, who served as White House counsel for the first year of former President Barack Obama’s first term, believes he will be indicted in regard to work he did for Ukraine several years ago.”
Guess what?

Craig’s fear was realized on Wednesday when he was indicted, as reported by Fox News:

“Greg Craig, former White House counsel for then-President Barack Obama, was indicted Thursday on two counts of making false and misleading statements to investigators — including Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team — in connection with his work on behalf of Russia-backed former President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych.”
“Craig is the first prominent Democrat to be indicted in a case arising from Mueller’s now-completed probe into Russian e******n i**********e. Mueller referred the Craig case to prosecutors in New York last year after uncovering possible wrongdoing while he investigated former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort’s Ukraine lobbying work.”
“The Washington-based lawyer was indicted by a grand jury in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia for allegedly falsifying and concealing ‘material facts’ and making false statements both to Mueller and to the DOJ National Security Division’s Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) Unit.”

Did you catch that in the Fox News report above, that it stated that Special Counsel Robert Mueller referred the case against Craig to prosecutors in New York, but that Craig was indicted by a grand jury in US District Court for the District of Columbia, NOT New York? Could it be that New York prosecutors are too busy trying to find something to indict President Trump with that they just didn’t have time to pursue the case against Craig? Or could it be that Democrats in New York influenced the prosecutors not to pursue the Craig case because of party loyalty?

Since one of the indictments against Craig is similar to one that Trump associate Paul Manafort was found guilty of and played a part in his prison sentencing, will Craig be held just as legally accountable as Manafort was? Or, will the US District Court for the District of Columbia be more lenient for an Obama associate?

After all, consider that of the 14 current active Article 3 judges serving on this federal court, Trump appointed 3, Clinton appointed 2 and Obama appointed 9 – there is still one vacancy that hopefully Trump will fill soon. There are also 9 senior judges on the court, 1 of which is a visiting senior judge. Of the 9 judges, Reagan appointed 2, George W. Bush appointed 5, Jimmy Carter appointed 1 and Bill Clinton appointed 2. The overall makeup of the district court is 9 judges appointed by Republicans and 14 appointed by Democrats.

Over the past decade, we have seen many instances of Democrat-appointed judges ruling on agenda and party loyalty instead of on the Constitution and rule of law. What happens now to Greg Craig will determine just how honest or biased the US District Court in Washington DC is.

The next question to be asked is based upon what Attorney General William Barr told Congress this week. Barr told them that he believes that spying on a political opponent is a very bad thing and that he believes the FBI did spy on the Trump campaign. He also told members of Congress that he intends to investigate everything surrounding the Steele dossier, FISA warrant and the counterintelligence investigation of President Donald Trump.

Barr said he plans on looking at those involved with the Steele dossier, including those who funded it and those who wrongly used it to obtain the FISA warrant that was used to spy on the Trump campaign. Since we know that the dossier was funded by the Hillary Clinton campaign and Democratic National Committee, Barr’s statements to Congress and the indictment of Craig leads us to ask who will be next to be indicted and who will be on Barr’s list of indictments when he is done with his investigations?
