Governors are different animals. When Obama opened the doors to Cuba, my Governor ( Hutchinson (R) ) wasted no time flying there to make "trade deals". The same Governor has been to China 3 times for the same purpose ( supposedly ), and has invited Chinese business people into the Capitol building to lobby Legislators directly, used public funds to help build Chinese factories to be run with minimum numbers of Arkansans, along with lavish tax exemptions. If we were to see his and other elected officials financial statements, I've no doubt that we'd see considerable portfolio's full of stock in the Businesses they helped.

My State has a sister city in Mexico, a Mexican embassy and has large numbers of folks from south of the border living here. These are just a few things that seem to be in opposition to the Trump administration, while they steadfastly claim loyalty to Trump.

The bottom line is this; money will ALWAYS outrank ideology and partisanship, specifically, money going into elected officials pockets.
