You're seeing through their smokescreen Rose. The time to leave was really before we went in. Too many of my guys going home in f**g-draped coffins. We had to take the f**gs off if barry or any of his admin was around, so we put them folded in the guys' arms. Even they weren't that perverted.

It's actually even more sinister than just protecting the opium. The CIA has a long history of drug running which funds their black budget projects. "Documented". Those are just the ones they've admitted to. The real number is most likely impossible to determine.

I threw them around to make a point that you totally missed: we need to get out of Afghanistan so that no more civilians die anywhere, Afghanistan or otherwise.

Okay, so all American forces are withdrawn from all foreign missions tomorrow. Bring the boys back home. I absolutely love that idea. Really! But then what? You think these 'civilians' have it bad now? Just wait and see what the resulting power vacuum results in around the entire Middle East. You think there's havoc and suffering now? You ain't seen nothing yet! It's just a really bad idea to 'walk away' from this disaster that refuses to be finished.
Going back to the root of this conflict, there is over a hundred years of occupation, abuse, corruption and downright self-interest from just about every 'player'. Had that not occurred, there never would have been a '9/11 attack, and the resulting almost 20 years of never-ending conflict would never have taken place. Look to history, and by all means, follow the money, because that's where the decisions are being made.
