Democrat-Controlled State House Passes Controversial Measure for I*****l I*******ts

Minnesota became ground zero for the debate over official documentation for i*****l i*******ts this past week when the Democrat-controlled state House of Representatives v**ed to allow those not legally in this country to obtain driver’s licenses.

According to the Minneapolis Star Tribune, the bill still faces an uphill climb to become law, however.

“The 74-52 v**e was a victory for the (Democrat) House majority and Democratic Gov. Tim Walz, who have made it a top priority for this session,” the Star Tribune reported Saturday.

“But it faces strong opposition in the Republican-controlled Senate, where some conservatives see it as an invitation to i*****l i*********n and possibly even fraudulent v****g.”

Members of the Democrat-Farmer-Labor Party, Minnesota’s odd state offshoot of the Democrats, framed the issue as one of inclusion and of road safety.

“Immigrants, whether they are documented or undocumented, are Minnesotans. They are part of the fabric of our communities,” DFL House Majority Leader Ryan Winkler said. “It is time that we helped take away this shadow of not having a driver’s license.”

However, one Republican representative called it a “super magnet” for i*****l i*******ts, arguing it was “one step closer to making Minnesota a sanctuary state.”

Another representative asserted that the bill would create perverse incentives, saying that focusing on fixing legal immigration was the way to go.

“My perspective is that we want immigrants coming here legally and (to) create a ladder to the middle class,” Republican Rep. Glenn Gruenhagen said. “Incentivizing people to come here illegally defeats that purpose.”

Conservative groups have also worried that the ID could be used to r******r to v**e or actually v**e. Minnesota doesn’t have photo v**er ID laws, however, and the licenses would carry a warning on them that they’re unable to be used for v****g.

Incentivizing and normalizing i*****l i*********n remains a major issue with Republicans, who control the upper chamber in the Minnesota state house.

Republican Senate Majority Leader Paul Gazelka called the chances it would pass “small.” Meanwhile, Republican Sen. Bill Ingebrigtsen said it was a “dangerous precedent” that would “undermine our current laws.”

“Minnesota shouldn’t be in the business of incentivizing illegal behavior, and by allowing illegal and undocumented immigrants access to driver’s licenses, that’s exactly what our state would be doing,” Ingebrigtsen said.

Well, yes, which is the point. Minnesota would be the 13th state to give i*****l i*******ts access to driver’s licenses. The likelihood that they could be used for v****g is remote if the warning is properly implemented. Beyond that, however, it’s an issue of normalization of crime.

Do you think i*****l i*******ts should get driver’s licenses?
Yes No

We too often forget that i*****l i*********n is illegal. If we want to fix our legal immigration system, that’s something we can certainly have a national discussion about.

The way to fix it, however, isn’t to reward those who go around that system to enter the United States. By giving those who are here illegally access to the same services and privileges that those here legally enjoy, Minnesota would be doing that. This may be a legislative priority of the state House of Representatives and the governor, but one hopes that the state Senate is able to apply some sense.

As for Shakur, she was a member of the Black Panthers and Black Liberation Army in the 1970s when she shot and k**led a New Jersey state trooper. She was eventually convicted of murder, but ultimately escaped and was granted asylum by Cuba’s c*******t regime.

Do you think the Democratic Party has veered too far to the left?
Yes No

It is worth noting that she was the first female to ever be placed on the FBI’s Most Wanted list, and despite demands for her to be turned over to U.S. authorities, the Cuban government has refused to cooperate.

Yet, despite being an avowed c*******t who reveres Marx and h**es America — or perhaps because of all of that — Shakur has been embraced by l*****t movements like Black L***s M****r, the anti-Trump Women’s March group and even the anti-gun, student-led March for Our Lives movement.

To be sure, leaders of those groups have played semantic games to try and distance themselves from the worst of Shakur — typically by suggesting they don’t support her violent tactics, but are inspired by her militantism for change — and it is quite likely that many members of those groups have no real idea who Shakur is or what she truly stands for.

Nevertheless, it can’t be denied that today’s Democratic Party and affiliated party apparatus has openly embraced the infamous words of a Marxist c*******t that wants to destroy America as we know it.

That would include the organizers and sponsors of the summit, such as a******n providers Planned Parenthood, the radical environmentalists of the Sierra Club, the SEIU labor union and CPD Action, a subsidiary of the l*****t community organizing group Center for Popular Democracy, among others.

RELATED: Not Joking: Dem Chair Demanding Trump’s Taxes Repeatedly Refuses To Release His Own

It also includes the prominent Democrats who spoke at the event, but said nothing to distance themselves from the Shakur chant, such as New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker, former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julian Castro, Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar, former Texas Rep. Robert “Beto” O’Rourke, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, among others.

The Democratic Party used to stand shoulder to shoulder with their Republican colleagues in staunch opposition to the societal scourge that is Marxist c*******m. Sadly, it seems that the Democratic party now openly embraces and promotes policies that will inevitably lead to Marxist c*******m right here in the United States — and that is simply shameful and anti-American.

Neither I nor most of America was of the opinion that what the p**********l field of Democrats really needed was more mediocre politicians who appeal exclusively to those huddled on the port side of the ship. In a race where the mayor of South Bend, Indiana, is credibly accumulating v**ers on the left wing, it’s time to maybe look at contraction more than expansion.

But alas, the mediocrity keeps accumulating. According to a Thursday piece in The Atlantic, California Democrat Rep. Eric Swalwell, whose accomplishments include, well, getting elected to the House, will announce his intention to pursue the nomination next week.

The venue? “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” because of course.

If you’ve heard of Swalwell — and I know this isn’t all or even most of you — it’s because of his stridency when it comes to gun control. He has advocated for not just banning but seizing so-called “assault weapons” and had an, um, interesting way of dealing with any possible resistance.

Responding to a tweet from former Infowars correspondent Joe Biggs (and really, so many great moments in politics begin with those words) over the possibility of a conflict if the government decided to gun-grab on a massive scale, Swalwell suggested “it would be a short war my friend. The government has nukes. Too many of them. But they’re legit. I’m sure if we talked we could find common ground to protect our families and communities.”

Yes, I’m sure you can talk something over and “find common ground” with someone threatening to use nukes on you unless you give up your rights. That common ground usually involves you acceding to their demands and them not using nukes against you. As an aside, if Rep. Swalwell thinks that damage done by AR-15s is bad, just wait until he discovers what fallout can do.

Swalwell passed the whole thing off as a “JK” moment, but he’s still pretty serious when it comes to taking your guns. In fact, according to The Atlantic, he plans to make it the central issue of his campaign and will likely begin his campaign with a town hall featuring a Parkland survivor, just in case you were wondering how high the demagogy level was going to be here. Parkland, all Soros puppets.

Do you think Swalwell has a chance at the Democrat nomination?
Yes No

“Swalwell will center his campaign on gun control,” The Atlantic noted.

“Helping him do that will be Cameron Kasky, a survivor of the February 2018 mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, who became prominent in the March for Our Lives student movement.

“Swalwell has written about being inspired by the youth movement in his call to ban all assault weapons, and Kasky was his guest at the State of the Union address in February. Together, they’re organizing a town hall that Swalwell will host in Coral Springs, Florida, on Tuesday. Swalwell announced the town hall on Wednesday afternoon, but made no mention in the public announcement of his political plans.”

Of course, Swalwell won’t confirm that he’s running yet. (Gotta save that energy up for Colbert, after all.)

“We are doing a town hall in Parkland,” Swalwell told The Atlantic. “And I do believe that gun safety has to be a top 2020 issue.”

However, Shannon Watts — founder of the Michael Bloomberg-financed gun control group Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, who has recently made appearances with Swalwell — certainly sounded like he was already a candidate when asked for comment.

“It’s a true sea change in p**********l politics that the candidates are competing to be the strongest on this issue, which means Americans will have a plethora of gun-sense champions to choose from,” Watts said.

“The calculus on guns has changed, and gun safety is no longer a third rail — in fact, making this issue a priority in your policy platform is how you win. Representative Swalwell has a long track record of being good on the issue of gun safety, and we welcome him to the race.”

Making this issue the only “priority in your policy platform” probably isn’t how you win, even if we’re just talking the Democrat primaries. (I’d also argue gun control is significantly less popular outside of California’s 15th Congressional District and/or the offices of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America than Watts or Swalwell might think, but that’s for v**ers to decide.)

Then again, the only other issue of note where Swalwell has managed to distinguish himself is Russiagate, where he’s pushed for redundant investigations into collusion between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin. The congressman has twice introduced the Protecting Our Democracy Act, which sought to establish a concurrent Congressional probe into Russian interference in the 2016 e******n that would run alongside the special counsel’s for reasons unbeknownst to God or man.

He was also willing to get himself dug in deeper than most Democrats when it came to pronouncing the president guilty absent any investigation that said he was. In a January appearance on PBS’ “Firing Line,” Swalwell said that the president was an “agent of Russia.”

“He betrayed our country and I don’t say that lightly,” he told host Margaret Hoover.

For reasons you can probably suss out on your own, that won’t feature in his 2020 campaign.

“I’m not running on Russia,” Swalwell said, “if I were to run.” Yes, and I can imagine why.

Then again, none of this necessarily makes Swalwell a square peg in the p**********l race. The only potential candidate who seemed to be moderate-ish and experienced was Joe Biden, who now faces what we’ve all become fond of euphemistically referring to as “a reckoning” involving his over-affectionateness toward women who would have just preferred a handshake.

We did? If you were counting Moonbeam's state or Hawaii, I don't. I do agree wholeheartedly though, there are quite a few things ex; welfare, EBT, medicaid and other programs that unless legal migrants shouldn't have access to.
