A woman falsely claimed that an Egyptian man tried to kidnap her kid until she fended him off with her trusty gun. Hundreds of people on social media blathered on about how good it was that she was packing heat, there was only one problem the entire thing was a lie. The poor man who met the description was arrested and jailed until police figured out the entire story was a lie. What on earth is a nut like this doing with a permit to carry a pistol? If she is around the bend enough to pull a stunt like this she should never have a gun.

He didn’t get an innocent man locked up and more importantly he was not carrying a gun. He should of course be held accountable, and should never be allowed to carry a gun.

There was another thread on OPP regarding this issue. I went and checked it out, discovered that it had already turned out to be a lie and provided the link to the article pointing out the lie and yet the building lynch mob on OPP was not to be dissuaded and were gathering their pitchforks and torches well after I pointed out that it was based on lies.
