This reminds me of one of my favorite sayings: “if they can justify lying for you, they can justify lying to you.”

This appears to me as just more proof that it is in Democrat's nature to c***t for the sake of advantage.

Ironically, it may well be that in this case AOC has the most integrity of any of them, which, of course, may not be saying much...

And... Isn't this akin to putting up a wall to keep others out? Hypocrites!

House Democrats are c***ting to secure incumbents

As reported by The Hill, leading House Democrats have introduced a new policy that seeks to reduce the chances that incumbent Democrats will be defeated by challengers from the same Party.

Under the new policy, any consultants working for candidates challenging a sitting Democrat would be blocked from working with the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC).

Consultants who promise not to work with said candidates will be added to a list of approved vendors eligible to work for the DCCC.

The Details

Freshmen lawmakers like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) see the policy as a “blacklist” designed to reign in the Progressive Left, but DCCC veterans insist the policy is nothing more than an old rule that was never put on paper (until now).

“Keeping the House requires the DCCC to focus on shoring up incumbents and challenging Republicans in red and purple districts, not battling in blue districts,” explains a former DCCC official. “It’s extremely difficult to keep that focus if the committee is constantly being pulled into Dem-on-Dem battles.”

In reality, few consultants who do significant business with the DCCC work for insurgent candidates. The only major example from last year’s midterms was the polling firm Lake Research Partners, who worked for AOC.

The policy is already making some would-be candidates question their bids.

Take Marie Newman, for example: Newman is a Democratic activist who last year came close to unseating Rep. Daniel Lipinski (D-IL). Newman says the new policy will be a major “consideration” as she decides whether to challenge Lipinski again.

“When you’re going to those lengths to ensure that incumbents, no matter who they are, stay in office, that feels like overreach,” says Newman.

Ocasio-Cortez has already asked her supporters to “pause” donations to the DCCC and instead give money to endangered Democrats. Her request garnered $90,000 in the first day.

This policy sounds desperate...

Almost like something the mob would come up with...

I agree... Good for AOC...(feels strange typing that...)

Seems the Democrats have become so desperate to acquire and retain power that they aren't even trying to conceal that obvious desperation.

Of course, even Pelosi can't run away from the fact that her party has nothing to offer at this point that any thinking American would want, hence measures like this one, which I think is at least partly a response to AOC's threat of primary challenges to those who don't tow her line and the incessant (despite the release of the Mueller report) "collusion"/obstruction of justice accusations against President Trump to conceal the Dems' lack of any other tangible platform.

In t***h, it's doubtful that the Democrats will be able, no matter what kinds of shennanigans they attempt, to pull themselves out of the downward spiral that is certainly going to see them decimated in November 2020.

Perhaps history will classify the current crop as "Capone Democrats." 😁

Hi Seth...

Hope you are well...

I doubt history will have much to say about them at all... They will be sort of an amusing footnote for political majors to chuckle at....

On the other hand, I quite look forward to reading (and perhaps teaching ) about the Trump presidency

Off to bed here...
Have a good day...

Your friend, Kyle

Ain't that the t***h? Our country is undergoing what even Obama's Border Security Chief calls an undeniable crisis. Hundreds of thousands of i*****l a***ns are crossing our southern border and more "caravans", aka invasions are now getting underway. Most from Central America. Our current laws mandate that anyone who steps foot onto US soil and requests asylum, to be allowed to remain in the US and given a hearing. Which because of the backlog is years hence. And if the i******s come with a child, the families can't be separated. So, because all our detention facilities are already overflowing, these people are given a court date for their bogus asylum claim (well over 90% are denied), and bussed into the interiors of the US. Never to return for their court date.
Add to this the archaic immigration lottery laws, where siblings, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and even extended family gets to come in. And the i***tic lottery i*********n l*ws. Where Anyone can come in depending on luck of the draw. And the insane anchor baby laws. Where a pregnant woman comes to the US and presto, gives birth to an American citizen. The only such law in the world.
So with all these problems at the border, are any Democrats focused on changing these laws? To help staunch the hemorrhaging at the border?
Our nation's border laws are so archaic, and unworkable, they're the worst in the whole world. You'd think the Dems would want to help out by changing these laws.
Not a chance!
Democrats are focused on getting Trump's tax returns - for the last 6 years.
Hopefully, after Trump wins in a landslide in 2020 v**ers will also give him a conservative Republican House of Representatives who will help him address our problems of i*****l i*********n.

At the rate they're going, the Democrats are doing as much if not more than the Republicans will need to do in their campaigns to see that the Dem majority in the House ends after the 2020 e******ns.

Wh**ever's going through the Dems' minds, it sure isn't in their best interests for ree******n or for getting anywhere near the White House 19 months from now, bless their hearts.

And that's why they need to c***t to keep themselves in office, get 16 year olds and i******s to v**e, and add members to the Supreme Court! They have no integrity or morals, so the ends justify the means. Meanwhile, America herself is on the chopping block. What will they do when America is so totally a banana republic that nobody flocks here anymore and w****s are the minority to be given special rights and privileges?

30 other countries do the birth to citizenship, and no the number of denials is closer to 80 % but it also depends on how many other approvals that were made for your country.

the Mueller report has not been released, his hand picked lackey is covering it up. An article in the New York Times spells out how members of Muellers staff is outraged that the information is being hidden. THe I***t Pumpkinfuhrer was of course outraged and tweeted threats at those who leaked the information then that the Times made it up! What a stinking load of Trump diarrhea, he is angry at a leak but the information is fabricated?

Not only are they advocating for the v**er age being lowered to 16, they also want the v****g rights of felons to be restored. Add to this the numbers of i******s v****g and that is probably the best chance for the Dems.
Cuz the only other concrete platform I’ve heard from the Dems are nonwinning, kooky ideas that’ll go over like lead balloons. Green New Deal, Medicaid for all, free college, guaranteed income for all, r********ns, infanticide, the list goes on.

In 1972 Richard Nixon won in biggest landslide in history. The democrats retained control of the House of Representatives. Two years later Nixon resigned

Do you know where the family unification part of our i*********n l*w came from? It was added to the immigration act by white southerners who thought it would enhance the number of white families coming from Europe. It worked that way for a while but now is allowing folks from other parts of the world to fulfill the American dream which isn't sitting well with them.

The only reason they're "outraged" is because they are frustrated that they couldn't find anything on the president and so are hoping that Representative Schitt and friends can twist some of the results to fit the "collusion" template. The AG is taking the wind out of the sails of the liars, who wanted to keep up the momentum of the last two years and now, more than ever, need to keep the heat off those Democrats and DOJ/FBI stooges whose involvement in the attempted c**p d'etat will soon lead to their own indictments and then prison sentences.

So, Kevyn, you'll soon have to blow the dust off your old "Free Mumea" tee shirt and change it, replacing "Mumea" with a list of the various t*****rs you have so fanatically defended for so long.

"Good luck with that."
