No, it's because they manufacture for lower costs. You would have to be an i***t to pay more than you need to manufacture something. Trump didn't invent this system, he is just playing by these rules. Also, I don't think there is any secret of proprietary information we risk losing by letting the Chinese make them. This is called competition. But our ridiculous tax system discourages business from producing here and if the socialists have their way we will become a third world nation (like Venezuela).
