Asylum seekers are not criminals. They are people escaping gang violence and persecution in their native countries. To be legal, they must be in the U.S. or at a port of entry to apply for asylum. While Trump keeps saying people should come here legally, his policies are making it impossible to do so. In addition to building more holding pens, how about directing resources to processing applications?

How is President Trump making it "impossible" to legally immigrate? And fleeing from gang violence and persecution? Really? So then most if not all of our inner city people should be able to claim asylum somewhere. These are, for the most part, economic refugees, plain and simple. Our i*********n l*ws have NEVER provided for people to pour into our country for us to support. I'm surprised it hasn't already broken the back of our economy. Which has been hobbling along for years, due to many factors, supporting the millions of i*****l i*******ts who come over our borders being a big one. Let me give you a clue about people who are fleeing persecution and privation. They go to the nearest place. Like the Venezuelans who really DO need asylum because they really ARE refugees. The don't march through multiple countries to go to the place with the best welfare system. This whole democrat "refugee" narrative is completely ridiculous to anyone with a brain. IMHO.

Under Trump's closed door immigration policy they have little chance of getting in. The only thing they do get from Trump is sympathy.
