News Flash. Smollett's lawyers just told George Stephanopoulos (sp) that they may sue the Chicago PD. Claiming that he's still healing from the attack, that he didn't ask for any of this and that he just wants to get back to his life and acting. That POS has the unmitigated gall to claim that after the Chicago PD weighed the evidence they decided they couldn't get a conviction so dropped the case.

Chicago can reinstate the charges against that POS Smollett. Double jeopardy doesn't attach until a jury panel is sworn in. And this case never got near to impaneling a jury. But for the charges to be reinstated, the prosecutor has to have the courage to reverse the earlier decision to drop all charges.
