Things in common.
I've just been thinking about how divided we all are. I thought it might be interesting and Illuminating for as many of us as possible to just State one thing or more that we believe we have in common with all other Americans.
I think we all want to raise our families with reasonable prosperity in a peaceful environment. I define reasonable prosperity as most of what you need and some of what you want.

We all want the Government to stay out of our personal lives and homes.
We do! But the l*****t, progressive, socialist wing of the Democrats does not.

The US is the least r****t country in the world and the best country for liberty. Everyone has the opportunity to be successful but there are no guarantees in life (e******y of opportunity, not outcome). No one should be above the law (rule of law and support for the Constitution as the highest law in the land). We welcome anyone who wants to come here to better their lives, accommodate to American culture, obey our laws, and become an informed citizen. Too bad some of our natural born citizens don't avail themselves to the wonderful opportunities this country provides.

The US is the least r****t country in the world an... (

I agree with that! Is there something you believe all Americans have in common?
Yes, both sides think they are patriotic Americans. We are all descendants of people from somewhere else. This is what makes the US the least r****t country in history. Our strength comes from adopting the best the world has to offer. Unfortunately we also sometimes bring in the worse. You can always count on America to do the right thing after they have tried everything else (Churchill?)

We all fart, poop, and pee?
And who doesn't love a puppy, baby calf, horse colt, or sealskin coat?

But, seriously, if you get away from the printed word, and actually (GULP) TALK to people, we aren't all that much different, and we can learn from each other. We don't have to agree on everything, but hating each other is out of the question.
I know this because I'm married.

Please follow the subject of the thread: what do we have in common and not resort to ad hominem instead of a response to the subject.

Who doesn't love a sealskin coat? My best guess, and this may be a long shot, is the seal.

OK boss. So, what do you, and I have in common?
You don't like guns.
But, you live in New Mexico, so you must like green chili.
If not, have you ever bottle fed a new born calf? Petted a puppy?
I'm fond of sour cream, and sharp cheddar as well.
Weeds....weeds piss me off, but, hey, if everything is mowed down to the same level, it all looks great from a helicopter!

No one can disagree with that.
P.S. I love my sealskin coat!
