Many men/women are injured in the field who need those surgeons and the funds to make them as whole as possible. Science clearly shows that a person born with a certain set of c********es will develop into a male if he has XY or a female if born with XX c********es. There are a few very RARE exceptions and their true sexual identity can be determined by a careful assessment of their genetics. Leaving aside the rare exceptions, people with g****r dysphoria have a nearly 40% chance they will attempt suicide, with or without a g****r reassignment surgery. The treatments leading up to the surgery is extremely expensive with hormonal treatment and psychotherapy. Then there's the actual surgery and follow-up care.
If someone desires to follow that path, let them foot the bill themselves. It's unreasonable to saddle the military or private insurance carriers with this nonsense, not to mention the time off for treatment and surgical recovery that the military and employers have to pay for.

If you are a true official t*********r how are you going to serve in your natural sex,you need a penis to be a natural man,now maybe a woman that became what she thinks is a man.All she has to do is dress and act as a woman,she does not have to worry about what she will do for a penis,she could not have removed what she never had,and can't get.As far as I know medical technology has not gotten that far as to fully accommodate her fondest aspirations as to becoming a total complete man,the operation can't give her a fully functional penis.
