I don't think that they had nuclear reactors in 979 more likely it was 1979 and I kinda remember the swine flu scare in 2009. Thanks for the on this day post badbobby.
Just for your info. The first Nuke reactor made power in Shippingport PA in 1958.
I personally closed the output breaker on my plant's unit 1 in 1970 for the first time.
I also was the bearer of the bad news on Three Mile Island's problem to our plant manager. he laughed at me and said it couldn't happen, just anti-nuke talk.
I guess 979 might be as bit early for reactors except for stars(suns).
