Did any of you South Texans, on this forum, ever have the pleasure of meeting, Oscar Wyatt Wild? I've just started a book, titled, "Blood Rich." The book centers around Oscar Wild and his socialite wife, Lynn Sakowitz.
Some of the most interesting books I've read have been about Texans. I first learned of Oscar Wild thru articles in the Texas Monthly Magazine. A self-made, up by his own bootstraps, billionaire.
An interesting point: Oscar h**ed H.W Bush. Another interesting point is that Oscar and Texan John Connely were pivotal in obtaining the release of the hostages held in Iraq, prior to the Gulf War.
