Another of my favorite columnists, Canadian expat Mark Steyn has an uncanny knack for getting to the heart of a matter with both clarity and great wit.

I've read two of his books and will soon be reading his latest, needless to say.

In today's column he gives an excellent summation of the now "completed" Mueller investigation and the supreme farce that led to the special counsel's appointment to begin with.

A great article by Steyn Seth, however I don't think the witch hunt by the dems is over.

This was not an attempted c**p. The special council found Russian
interference in our e******n process. We had to know just how far it went.when Trump made comments about how Russia should release Hillary's Emsils, and they are releeased the next dsy, and latter meets Putin with only Putins t***slator, it begins to look bad. And it still does.

Let Schitt & Co. keep on blowing smoke. From here on out, they'll just make themselves look even sillier than they do now... If a professional frame-up artist like Mueller couldn't come up with even a phony angle in two years, those milquetoast misfits on the left side of the aisle will only go from amusing to pitiful in the eyes of moderate Dems and centrist v**ers, shooting themselves in the foot well ahead of November 2020.

Unfortunately, you are a true believer. The Left has been more effective in supporting Putin's disruptive work than he could have in his wildest dreams ever accomplished on his own.

No, it was an attempted c**p -- the special counsel didn't "find" any such thing -- Mueller was appointed well after the phony Steele Dossier was cooked up by people on the payroll of Hillary's campaign, and corrupt elements within Obama's FBI and Justice Dept had used that unsubstantiated piece of fiction to get the ball rolling.

Trump's comment asking the Russians to release Hillary's emails was a joke.

Do some homework.

Bottom line is the left works behind the lines for the c*******t, Islam, and the NWO. All godless and all evil.

Trump is sometimes a great comedian playing to a Progressive audience who is afraid to laugh.

He makes me laugh a lot, but then I'm a total believer in Trump, he's the first POTUS in my lifetime that's doing every single thing he said he'd do, even if some things have to take longer than others due to a combination of Democrat obstructionism and certain RINOs or turncoat Republicans who, in saner times, might have been hanged or, at the very least, run out of town on a rail.

If it's anti-America, today's Democrats support it.

It will never be over be over while there is a President Trump. But they are sowing seeds that will have a very bitter harvest. If, by some disastrous chance one of their own becomes president, combined with what they did to Kavanaugh, there will be hell to pay.

Just as the Dems never think about what happens "down the road" when they commit megabucks of the taxpayers' money to losing propositions, they are now setting precedents that they'll later cry "foul!" if the Republicans eventually do the same to them.

All the Republicans will have to say will be "Remember when...?"

I expect a whole host of investigations in the House. The DNC ought to have to pay the $30-40 million Mueller spent. If an individual as crooked as he has always been can’t come up w/ a frame job, something he has a record of being very good at, the nut cases on both sides of the aisle can’t do it.

What evidence they found of Russian intervention was a joke compared to what Obama & Hillary did in Egypt & Libya & what Obama did in Israel.

Anything the Russians did did not effect the outcome of the e******n like all the illegal v**es by Democrats did in the mid-terms. They will win in 2020 by illegal v****g if something is not done quickly.

Agreed.

Non-RINO Republicans definitely need to get up on their hind legs and deal with this.

What a group of lost causes the right wingers are, you never seem to understand beyond the moment.

I would go on and on, as you have been told tons of common sense indicators show trump is a Russian. the sad fact that he covered his complicity as a practiced criminal would do, does not make his deeds any less viable..

As for cost, the right wing spends money like no other machine created by mankind..

Sample....COST –

Kenneth Starr’s investigation cost about 60 million dollars (that is the minimal conservative estimate, some claim it was actually 80 million dollars.) It resulted in no recompense, or recovered dollars.

Robert Mueller’s investigation cost approximately 25 million dollars, as of two months ago. But, it has recovered more than 48 million dollars in real assets from criminals (real estate and several autos) which is all now the property of the United States Treasury. It has “taken in” nearly double of what was “paid out” – and the additional cash intake from Paul Manafort is still ongoing, and a matter of dispute, at the moment. (Paul Manafort managed to cleverly hide a lot of his cash in foreign banks, and by gifting it to members of his family. That part of his case is still ongoing. He owes another $43,000,000 in hard cash, but claims he does not have it.)

Net cost: Starr = cost the Government $60,000,000.00 (1994 dollars)

Net cost: Mueller = literally profited $23,000,000.00 to the U. S. Treasury … So far.
