Iowa Is Stuck Paying Thousands to Defend I*****l A***n Who Murdered Mollie Tibbetts
A judge ruled on Monday that the State of Iowa will be stuck paying for an “expert witness” to help the i*****l a***n who is being tried for the brutal random murder of Mollie Tibbetts.
The judge ordered the state to pay $3,200 for the first payment of a stipend for a forensic expert with Criminal Case Consultants in Buffalo, N.Y. hired by Lawyers for Cristhian Bahena Rivera, 24, who is charged with first-degree murder, according to The Gazette.
“The stipend is required for the expert to begin looking into those issues but doesn’t cover costs of testimony at trial or travel expenses, Frese said in the motion. The defense will make separate requests for those funds if necessary,” the paper reported.

The payment order came on the heels of the judge deciding that the suspect was indigent and did not have the money to defend himself.
It is just one small amount in the tens of thousands that this illegal will cost the state for his defense on murder charges.
The trial continues despite claims by the defense that the suspect could not get a fair trial in the community in which the murder occurred and their request to have the trial moved to a district that was mostly Hispanic in the hopes that the k**ler could get off Scot free.
Bahena Rivera is accused of murdering 20-year-old University of Iowa student Mollie Tibbetts as she jogged last July.
An autopsy showed the victim died from “multiple sharp force injuries,” which indicates she was stabbed with a knife or other sharp object.
Rivera is a Mexican national and is in the U.S. illegally. He remains in jail on five million bail.
