Are you trying to pick apart one of his conspiracy theories that he has committed himself to believing? How cruel of you. He has to have a target of his h**e getting information from MSM so that his president taking his policy from Fox news seems more normal.

Read the article. It states "Jerry Dunleavy reported at The Washington Examiner Friday that according to deposition transcripts released this week, Steele allegedly backed up parts of his dossier not from CNN reports but from posts on CNN’s iReport website, to which anyone could post their views, with CNN noting the user-generated stories were “not edited, fact-checked, or screened.” In other words, Steele used user comments as evidence."
So, yes, CNN does have an internet presence.
Definition of counterintelligence:
Organized activity of an intelligence service designed to block an enemy's sources of information, to DECEIVE THE ENEMY, to prevent sabotage, and to gather political and military information

Might be a good rule not to comment on threads (especially if being negative or sarcastic) if one isn't going to read the topic of discussion and pertinent content....
Edit: This was intended as a reply to CSM... Finger slip...

Its not outside the realm of possibility.
But conspiracies never actually happen. Nah. There was no Operation Northwoods, MK Ultra, the Gulf of Tonkin, poisoned alchohol during prohibition, Facebook spying on us, government spying on the media, syphillus given to the Tuskeegee airman, WMDs, .and many more

When you can see through it without reading an article based on conspiracy theory... The investigation started before the dossier was released to the FBI.

Why was the investigation started?

So CSM, you can surmise what the article is all about without reading and digesting the content? Sad you are so narrow minded~~~
