The "Alabama A******n Ruling Enrages Liberals" thread ended when I, a suspected Liberal, spoke out against a******n: coincidence?

It was fiery hot until my post. Curious. No h**e to hurl? This is what I said:

'It is impossible to disagree that life begins at conception. Moronic not to. But where, other than basic logic and science, does that idea come from? From God? Zero evidence of that in the Bible, despite what many Christians will quote. The only chapter and verse directly on the subject makes the fetus less than a person. Exodus21:22-25. The rule then was an eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth. Yet the man who caused the a******n gets off with a monetary punishment. Yes, it was accidental, but other such accidental k*****gs in the OT are treated as murder. For those that breathe, which Genesis says is the criterion of life. We need to drop all religious arguments for the overpoweringly obvious: life begins at conception. End of story.

"A******n is a horror on many levels, both subtle and blunt. It corrodes our belief in the sanctity of life, making for a slippery slope toward a lessening of our humanity. It numbs us to what suffering and death really is. We lose a sensibility to what is decent and good, and our responsibility to act that way. And much more. There is no plus side. Humankind gains nothing in this equation. We are all left bereft in mind and heart of something intrinsic and lasting in society: to care for the least of these. Who knows where that may lead?

"What to do? Duh! Stop a******n, This is a nation of laws and no one has the right to end the life of another. Your body, your right to decide a being's fate? Hardly! This is not the time to quibble. A******n is not just ending the existence of a child, it is slowly k*****g our capacity to care for those who need our love and protection the most.'

I would like to question the ability to reason among members of the Alabama Supreme Court. Let’s start with that premise that all life is sacred. Now a mother, births a baby during the same week that the great state of Alabama struck down SNAP which helps poverty level mothers feed their child. Tell me again how sacred this life is. Now, work on getting those vouchers for religious and private school. Leave that same child in a school system that has been raped of any ability to teach. No supplies, no salaries and no food. Tell me again how sacred this child is. Moving right along to see that these same children are now ok’d to work in factories.at 12. Let’s talk about how sacred this life is. Ultimately this same child could very well end up in our justice system. If his crime is great enough he will be put to death. Tell me again how sacred this life is. I guess it’s pretty clear, I’m not buying the anti a******n people. They just don’t think it through. Because of that they don’t see the end result of their insistence on bringing new life to children born to addicts or criminals or just to someone who does not want a baby. They alone create a hell on earth for unwanted children. It’s hard to think of anti a******nists as anything but hapless i***ts, bent on cruelty or following some religious fantasy.
