Some reasonable accommodation for a group of people who were brought illegally to the US as children and are Americans in everything but legal status.

That’s a good start. I would also add we want immigrants who want to assimilate and become Americans. And we want immigrants who come to be productive members of society, not just welfare recipients taking advantage of our generosity. America is a nation of immigrants who came her for freedom, liberty and opportunity to make their own way in life! Too many “entitlement” minded folks like to forget that little aspect!

#2 - Already have half a dozen work visa programs which work very well!
#3- What would you consider cost effective to stop 70,000+ illegal crossings? Already have humane policing.
#4 - What do you consider reasonable?
Using vague wording prevents anyone from being able to pin you down, doesn't it?
