Yes, that's what the Democratic Party has done.

Look at the Democrats of the JFK era and then look at the Democrats of today.

Michael Goodwin has a knack for succinct, spot-on commentary, and he is right on target in this column.

Yeah, 'way too far, and they seem to believe that the majority of Americans are right there with them.

I believe that November 2020 is going to prove a rude awakening for the Democratic Party.

Ha ha ha this shows how out of touch the right wing is with facts.

Now Michael Cohen is going to jail for 3 years because he pleaded guilty for lying to protect Trump from his many s**ms. Trump Quote Michael Cohen is a good man. That was before the SDNY/SPECIAL COUNCIL COMPILED THE EVIDENCE THAT COHEN WAS LYING. HE HAD NO CHOICE THEY HAVE THE EVIDENCE.

Now is Michael Cohen lying now or was he lying to protect Trump. When Cohen turned over all the evidence to law enforcement that proves he was protecting Trump Trump calls this good man a rat. But all Cohens testimony has been corrborated.

So Cohen goes to jail for protecting Trump and Trumps sits in the White House with the power of the presidency.

My thoughts are, if the dims continue down the road they have set themselves on, they will indeed be in trouble come 2020. And icing on the cake would be if Howard Schultz or Bernie Sanders ran as a 3rd party candidate.

There you go again, this time making a comment that has absolutely NOTHING to do with what I posted, and every single thing you DID post was false.

That's the Democrat way these days, though. You don't see any reason to justify your snide anti-Trump statements, and on the occasions that you present what you think is evidence is only evidence if you reallllly stretch the imagination, making unlikely deductions from the unlikely deductions of others.

Having done a good measure of serious investigative work in the past and often having to support the product constituted by my reports by taking the witness stand for cross examination by hostile attorneys, I can tell you, professionally, that in the same position you'd have been out of a job the minute you even submitted a report.

Not a single argument you ever make is based on any kind of t***h, just unfair, inaccurate innuendo aimed at the best president America has seen in my 60+ years of life.

Pathetic, AirFarce1, really pathetic.

FREE DINNER!

As everybody knows, “There ain’t no free lunch!” Not for you and me but there is one for Congress. It says so in our Constitution’s Article I, Section 8: “Congress shall have the power…to coin Money…” No limit is specified! Free Dinner!

To spend, you and I need income but Congress, needing no income, can buy anything and everything for sale in USD with its magic keyboard. Congress’ only buying problem comes when it tries to buy stuff that is in short supply. Then, prices rise and inflation rears its ugly head, making life difficult for everybody.

So, in practice, there is a limit to Congress’ spending because the rest of the world is also spending and there can be too much spending and not enough goods for sale. But, lately, goods are plentiful and production is being reduced as unemployment rates increase and millions of people are without steady, well-paid employment. Our problem now is not inflation but creeping deflation!

With automation, computers, and robotics, that situation is getting worse. As the costs of housing, healthcare, and college education are rising, prospects for the next generations appear to be hopeless. What should Congress do?

Congress has the power to spend and spending on our needs is exactly the answer! Let Congress buy available goods and services to provide those needs! So, what are our needs? We always need more and better infrastructure. We need to improve our roads and bridges, rivers and dams, an endless list! If we lack energy, Congress can pay people to make solar and wind farms, nuclear and geothermal plants, etc., just like it paid for the Hoover Dam, the TVA, etc. Why can’t Congress pay for everyone’s healthcare, as it does for soldiers? It can also pay for free education, starting with nurseries, day-care, and Pre-K, on up to PhD.

All we need is a Congress that is willing to spend on our everyday needs the same way it spends on war needs. So, whence cometh cash for aircraft carriers? We have a dozen carriers, complete with airplanes, service ships, crews, port facilities, supplies, and fifty years of operating expenses! Trillions have been spent on war! Wherever that defense money came from, let’s get some more for our other needs! As our needs are almost endless, it’s great that Congress has no spending limit. That sounds like a good deal. A New Deal! Let’s call it a Green New Deal!

There's got to be some measure of desperation involved when the Dems treat a convicted criminal, turncoat and liar as though he was the sterling epitome of t***h and virtue.

I always read Michael Goodwin's column in the N.Y. Post, going back to when I lived there. He tends to have very clear perceptions.

His name for Bill DeBlasio is "Mayor Putz.'

Suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome none of the above mentioned crowd can relate to what Trump is trying to do.

But, if they really want to experience the true Democratic Socialist agenda firsthand, I hear Venezuela is a really nice place to live right now. There one can experience true "Democratic Socialism" at its finest.

But, of course, AirHead1, PeteyS, Kevvy, BadBoobJob, and the rest won't stay long. They would want a one-way ticket back to America in just a few minutes.

I used to see Michael Goodwin a lot when Lou Dobbs had his old show on CNN. He always seemed to be a voice of reason.
