I would not throw food at a dog in that manner, because it might injure the dog or frighten a puppy so why would I think it is acceptable to throw food or other objects at small children? In that video did you see any of the babies smiling, laughing and begging for you to keep throwing things in his face? If it is a couple of ten year old boys throwing things that cannot injure them at each other, that is a different story altogether.

I grew up in a rougher home than most. I found it both sad and funny. The cheese if just unwrapped isn't going to put out an eye unless you really hurl it. But if other children are around I wouldn't do it because they will copycat it. I might do it to divert their attention from whining when nothing is really wrong and kids love cheese. I have also done the grape thing with my younger siblings when they were little, but now I would worry about it going down a windpipe. My first instinct was that it was disrespectful. They may be babies but they are people. I'd leave home when mom started showing her friends our baby pictures because a couple were bathtub nudies. Times change, human nature doesn't. Today I would have been removed by social services but I and all my sibs survived cherry bombs, bb gun wars, and a lot of other crazy stuff.

I think for throwing a kid is not funny at all - down right stupid and could be dangerous. Throwing it at an adult, sorta fun/funny, unless you're the victim.
