I find it very telling that no one seems to be proffering any evidence that what Cohen is saying about the president is untrue. The only defense seems to be to discredit Cohen. Yes, he has a pretty crummy record of t***hfulness, but I'd expect a better retort to his statements than "he's a liar!"

Plus, if he's as awful as the president continues to say he is, why did he keep Cohen employed for so long?

Do you think that what Cohen said here might suggest one reason why Trump retained him for so long?

Yeah, someone working for someone else is going to bad mouth their employer while still working for them. Just because Cohen said nice things about Trump while still working for him doesn't mean any of it was true.

Cohen either tells the t***h or Mueller will add time to his sentence. Since the bulk of Cohen narrative can be verified by Mueller Cohen would only lie if he had a strong desire to spend more time in jail. Of course, conservatives will think that because that's the propaganda they are being fed and they can't deny it and still stay on message. The will choose message over t***h any day of the week--repeating a lie much more than they can resist...

If it isn't the t***h then Mueller will extend Cohens stay in jail. As for why Trump retained him--he thought him a loyal puppy dog. Trumps favorite kind...

Would I? Hell no, but then I am not a lawyer with "questionable" ethics that only seems to work for the worst of the worst, the real scumbags, either. While his ethics are most definitely "questionable" at best, a complete lack of morals would be more like the t***h but... You may "claim" that he is only doing this because he didn't get into the WH. You may also claim he is only doing this because he wants to reduce his sentence. I believe he is only doing this because it has occurred to him that he is going to jail for doing the bidding of someone else and this someone else is just letting him take all the wrap for crimes they did together and these crimes only really enriched the one that he sees as not having to pay for his wrong doing. That has to piss one off some.

Trump wouldn't be president if he wasn't a r****t. Without such a qualification he never would have been able to add Obama's birth certificate to his vitae and from that was garner qualifications to be your next president.
