Really?

The great deal maker fails to make a deal - again. Seriously, not a single deal has been made by the worlds greatest deal maker since he took office. There has been some re-packaging of old deals that pretend to be new, tremendous and powerful deals, but anyone who can read isn't falling for that old con.

Looks like Jared "golden boy" Kushner needs to find him a small country with no extradition, as it's obvious that old Net of Israel will squeal like pig when the handcuffs come out. Those of us who pay attention remember that Israeli "insurance company" bailing out Jared's failing real estate empire with a 400 million dollar "investment"...............that resulted in the US unilaterally withdrawing from the Iran nuclear deal...........................and moving the US Embassy to Jerusalem. You remember, the "insurance company" run by the Netanyahu family cabal?

I can't remember, are there any of Trump's campaign staff and former Cabinet staff that are NOT under indictment for one crime or another? Really, it's like shooting fish in a barrel.

Sanctions lite...

Because Trump gave Kim credibility for the first time, other nations were forced to acknowledge him, trade is already opening up with China and other nations through South Korea. My guess is that Russia already does business with them.

You would rather NOKO have nuclear weapons,right???...Got it!!! What is your problem,Woody...NOKO still will have sanctions, that havent changed...Obama told President that NOKO will be the biggest problem of his Presidency,so President is trying to solve it...We already made progress with hostages being free, with remains of American soldiers coming home...At least we are having a dialogue with biggest threat to our humanity...

Proud,,,

It amuses me that trump comes back echoing so much of what was pointed out to him by Democrats after, even before his first afternoon summit..

I do think it good that he is acknowledging what he was told by so many..

In any coming summits it needs to be understood that Kim is more than happy to have an unending number of these summits.. each one gives him increased standing in the world. A tactic pursued by both his father and grandfather..

Just sitting down with the greatest power on earth gives higher status to NK and kim..

simply having dialog on the international stage reduces the effect of any sanctions which are in place..

As for hostages... yes, I think we are all pleased for any return of hostages.. So far he got 3 returned I believe..

What upsets me is trump giving a green light of forgiveness to Kim for the arrest, torture and death of the college student Warmbier.. Again trump declares himself believing the mad man dictator.. the worst human right violation on the planet..

And the orange turd declares he believes kim rather then every report on the table.. D********g...

So with trump not giving anything more to Kim, maybe we should be glad that this shortened summit is gone to the pages of time and until we learn otherwise, consider it better then it was expected to be..

Russia has BEEN doing business with them. N. Korea has been under some sort of sanctions for what, 50 years?, yet they managed to buy centrifuges and the other specialized equipment necessary to enrich radioactive stuff.

As my knowledge on world affairs is extremely limited
(unlike lotsa folks on both the right and the left)
I'll just ask;
would you rather have the A bombs going off,and the missiles flying everywhere?
at least the NK is at the table negotiating
can't we all hope for good to come from the negotiations?

Even Pelosi said that Trump did the right thing by walking away from a bad deal...

Bravo! Thank you for that sane rebuttal. I guess some of these left leaning socialists think that the kind of "deal" that they should expect is pallets piled high of US dollars being flown out of our country in the dead of night and landing on some foreign tarmac . . . such as the fiasco overseen by Obummer. It absolutely is better to make NO DEAL than a LOSING DEAL!
