‘Citizen Of The Year’ L**T Activist Burns Down Own House To F**e A H**e Crime

Written by Wes Walker on February 27, 2019

In a world where Obama can get a Peace Prize about eleven seconds into his Presidency, maybe this ‘Citizen of the year’ shouldn’t surprise us.

That ‘Journalists are like Firefighters’ quote just got really interesting. Journalists are supposedly the protection from f**e news. Problem is, they are often the DELIVERY system for f**e news. Especially if it’s the salacious, juicy kind that fits all their assumptions about what the world is ‘really’ like.

When the house burned in 2017, the FBI initially thought they had a h**e crime on their hands. The media wasted no time in declaring Nikki Joly a victim of a crime.

After all, the t*********r man and gay rights activist had received threats after having a banner year in this conservative town.

In the prior six months, he helped open the city’s first gay community center, organized the first gay festival and, after 18 years of failed attempts, helped lead a bruising battle for an ordinance that prohibits discrimination against gays.

For his efforts, a local paper named him the Citizen of the Year.

Is it too cynical to wonder now whether the fire itself was a deliberate part of the activism? Victim status has become a cudgel with which to bludgeon others into giving special political concessions. Because the ‘citizen of the year’ who was ‘victim’ has been arrested for setting that fire.

Police investigators don’t think so. They’re connecting the dots.

Authorities later determined the fire was intentionally set, but the person they arrested came as a shock to both supporters and opponents of the gay rights movement. It was the citizen of the year — Nikki Joly.

“It’s embarrassing,” said Travis Trombley, a gay resident who fought for the ordinance. “How do you do it to the community you have put so much effort into helping?”

Why Joly, 54, would allegedly burn down his home remains a mystery. He didn’t own the house, which was insured by its owner, police said.

His attorney said the lack of a motive cast doubt on the case.

Meanwhile, a police investigative report suggests a possible reason for the fire.

Two people who worked with Joly at St. Johns United Church of Christ, where the Jackson P***e Center was located, said he had been frustrated the controversy over gay rights had died down with the passage of the nondiscrimination law, according to the report.

The church officials, Barbara Shelton and Bobby James, when asked by police about a possible motive for the fire, said Joly was disappointed the Jackson P***e Parade and Festival, held five days before the blaze, hadn’t received more attention or protests.

Here is Todd Pelletier the fire investigator testifying that the fire was deliberately set:

Nikki Joly was 2018’s ‘Citizen of the Year’:

And he could have gotten away with it too, if it weren’t for those meddling…

… no, wait. It didn’t take the Mystery Machine. That was just good old-fashioned police work.

Don’t hold your breath waiting for CNN or NYTimes to proclaim that Americans do NOT h**e each other as much as we were told we do.

Why would the Partisan Media(D) possibly want to tell THAT story? They WANT us divided into exploitable competing victim groups.
