This "girl" thinks shes a big dog now. I remember when congressmen "represented" the people. The idea of being "in charge" and We The People yelling from the cheap seats will not fair well come e******n day!

The only reason she thinks she is the big dog is because the msm supports her and her loony ideas.

One question not asked is how many cites in US are served by air and not rail? How do they get into the t***sportation loop, build more railroads?

I think it's great! I have an 1800s design sailboat and a horse. I can corner the t***sportation market in my area.😁
(Since I won't have to work at my real job.)

How much will it cost and who will pay for it? And since CO2 emissions aren't even causing warming, what good is it?

It talks about "mass t***sportation" in a few places. I read it - to me it sounds like something that was written by a fifth grader, having pipe dreams about a utopian future...

Sarcasm aside, what they envision is downright scary! We all need to guard against this.

When you ask AOC that question, she just blows it off...she doesn't have an answer. Anderson Cooper tried for a full hour, and she never answered it.

I saw a short video clip of her responding to "those people" who want to know how we are going to pay for her GND. She deflected by saying "the world is going to end in 12 years, and your biggest issue is how are we going to pay for it?" Not an answer. Not even a comment that makes sense. Just a pathetic, useless attempt to put the onus on "those people" to explain how they could possibly make the cost of this grand plan their priority. You bad people. How could you even ask? That is, of course, the standard mock/demean/dismiss strategy.

Unfortunately for her, she is really, really bad at it.

Kamala Harris said basically the same thing "It's not about the cost - it's about the investment". What does that even mean? So where does she think the $3 trillion (trillion!!!) that Medicare-for-all will come from? Santa Claus? And that's just one small part of this plan!

Medicare for all is, as we all know, Medicare for none. Those of us in the Baby Boomer generation paid into this program our entire lives. This kind of program would ruin it for us. The candidates touting these plans should also be aware that we are all eligible v**ers … and we are many.

Honestly, IDK what they are thinking, though. We can't afford any part of this plan. I heard Lieberman this morning talking about how he and McCain and others worked together for years on c*****e c****e programs and were not very successful. Given that, I can't imagine this little nitwit could ever get to the point of actually passing any of this. I do believe that Harris, Booker, et al. will end up having to at least give this stuff lip service, but hopefully that's all it will be. If you listen closely to Harris, she really does not actually commit to very much … just agrees and makes some general comment like that … "it's all about the investment" … but I don't hear her out there pushing it or throwing out any details. I think she would say just about anything right now to get another v**e.

And I seriously doubt any of this has a chance of getting through Congress. But I could be wrong ….

Medicare for all is, as we all know, Medicare for ... (show quote)

I told my 36-year old son that he better do something for himself when he retires - like the Roth IRA and the military's version of the 401K. I told him that I paid into Medicare and Social Security all my life, and we were told that we would have it back when we retired. I do, and my baby-boomer peers do also, but they are saying that by the time my son reaches his retirement age, he will only qualify for 20% of what he put into those programs. So he and his wife started the Roth and are contributing the max per year, and the education IRA's for their kids. Makes me feel good that he won't have to rely on some cockamamy program from the government.

And I don't even want to get started on them calling SS and Medicare "entitlements" - this is MY money that they took out of every single paycheck for 45 years, not something they are freely giving me. That really bugs me.

Amen to that, Emily! We paid for all of it and it is definitely not an entitlement. I am a healthy, healthy person and don't cost them much …. and I'm thinkin' I would rather just take all the money I paid in (with interest) and put it in my own account, and I'll take care of myself. Heck, if down the road I need knee or hip surgery, Medicare will probably find some reason to deny it.

I do believe your son is doing the right thing, because one way or another the next generation is probably not going to see much from their forced contribution into these plans.

I also take great issue with the fact that we do not get COLA increases very often and, when we do there always seems to be a proportionate increase in Medicare premiums so it ends up being a wash. This, while Congress v**es in regular COLA increases as well as regular raises in pay for themselves--as if any of them actually need that money--or EARN it. Burns my butt.

Gee, Kevyn, I...just don't know what to say, I have to admit I never realized you post your "realities" from another planet.

She's going to SXSW in Austin.
Somebody told her to start walking.
You know AOC ( always on crazy ) will charter a plane.
That's what socialism boils down to.
It's for thee, but not for me.

She just chased Amazon out of town with their 25,000 to 40,000 good paying jobs for locals in her community. Not to mention the many Billions of dollars that would have been pumped into the economy.
Are you really that blind or just uninformed? Amazon was getting around 3 Billion Dollars in tax breaks. Income from taxes are based on income earned. It's not just money that is laying around. AOC thought they were giving Amazon 3 Billion Dollars? She thought SHE thought SHE should get that 3 Billion so SHE could re-distrubate it to the people SHE thinks deserves it. Doesn't she have a degree in ECONOMICS????
She needs go back to Boston University and ask for a refund. DUMB AS A ROCK!!!
