Many third world countries have as good or better medical than we do, the US is not toward the top of any list in terms of "best". Countries like Cuba actually have some drugs available that are better and vastly cheaper. India is moving toward a medical industry where procedures like hip and knee replacements can be done for a tenth of what they cost in this country.
The US has an unsustainable for profit system where the prices need to be pulled back to some degree of sanity.
