Here are a few tit-for-tat national emergency things: Epidemic Gun Violence; growing C*****e c****e; Income Ine******y; access to Healthcare. Perhaps unlikely but you never know.
We can see how these tit-for-tat things often work in Congress, and one fine example was Harry Reid's elimination of the filibuster for judicial nominations so that it would be easier for Democrats to confirm more liberal judges. Now Trump and the Republican Senate have been confirming very conservative judges at a breakneck pace. What goes around come around. Or, careful what you pray for, you just may get it.
