Glorifying Perversion

I don’t care what ANYBODY says, I agree with this 100 percent!

Bob Livingston – Personal Liberty Digest
It is now established orthodoxy that not only must the homosexual lifestyle be “accepted” by all without question, but it must be glorified by all as well.

The sports and entertainment media jumped the shark with Michael Sam’s celebrated kiss televised for all to see after learning he was drafted by an NFL team. But the kiss was not a one-off event, as it began to be replayed ad nauseam on sports media, particularly ESPN.

Sam was lauded for his courage in “coming out.” But what courage is involved in riding the wave of popular culture? When he announced he was gay, he was invited to the White House by President Barack Obama.

Sam had the example of NBA player Jason Collins, who was featured on the cover of Time in its April 2014 issue of the “100 Most Influential People of the World,” after he announced he was homosexual, becoming the celebrated “first ever openly gay player in a major U.S professional league.”

There is no courage in glorifying perversion, nor in riding the wave of popular culture. The courage is in opposing it, which can cause you to be sent to a re-education camp (NFL player Don Jones) or cost you your livelihood (Brendan Eich, David and Jason Benham and almost Phil Robinson).

In case you haven’t heard, the Benhams had a show canceled that was scheduled to begin on HGTV. That announcement coincided with an announcement by NBC that it was to begin production of a lesbian sitcom produced by Ellen DeGeneres. The establishment culture has been inoculating us to this end for some time with shows featuring homosexual characters.

Michael Sam and Jason Collins are not Jackie Robinson. Robinson’s effort took courage. Sam’s and Collins’ not so much.

Unleash the hounds with charges of homophobia. I do not care. Nor do I care when I meet someone whether he is homosexual or heterosexual. I never inquire, nor do I expect it to be announced, much less thrown in my face.

It is long-established religious orthodoxy that sexual immorality — including homosexuality — is a sin. That is God’s word, not mine. Don’t blame me.

Christianity is my lifestyle. I have no desire to preach that t***h to you if you don’t want to hear it. Why must you insist on preaching to me that I should embrace your lifestyle? I will not, for I cannot (Romans 1:18-32).

We are no longer slouching toward Gomorrah. We have long since arrived.

Going contrary to established orthodoxy has become dangerous. Contrary viewpoints are no longer tolerated in America. That is f*****t and totalitarian.

We live in "as the days of Noah" all kind of perversion, h**e deception, and "they will call good evil, and evil will be called good"
Everyone feels something big is about to happen, life changing, world changing, non Christians, and Christians.
But those walking with the Lord know, the final prophecies are unfolding, Jesus calling up his church, and the beginnings of sorrows as man has never seen, the great tribulation and judgment of God upon the world.
Call on Jesus, our time is short!!!!!

I believe that gay people should not be persecuted. However, I reserve the right to exercise my own preferences. I did not especially want to see Sam kissing his boyfriend...so I changed channels. I also don't especially care to see the unkempt bearded Robertson klan, so I change channels too when I come across Duck Dynasty. I also change channels when I come across Bill O'Reilly or Ellen Degeneres. My father told me you can't argue taste, so why bother.

Most of you have a remote control. It's not all that hard to use.

I never have gone for the gay rights thing. It is the last thing I want to hear about and I don't really care if they like me or not.

So much of media is eye candy. Having seen the kiss on line, I have to wonder if most media consumers were as repulsed as I was. If this is to be a new standard, I question whether it will sell. When someone wins an Olympic Gold medal, will we be subjected to similar tender moments of celebration? Will the sponsers continue to bid up the price of television commercials for this brave new world? Maybe, I guess, it might be so.

Scotty,

There is always an off button. I have never seen any people in my neighborhood having a public display of gay affection. Contrary to what some of you may think, very little of California is like what you see on your televisions or in your movie theaters. Most people work, shop, get stuck in traffic, spend time with their loved ones and have little desire to put themselves on display. If I were you I wouldn't draw too many conclusions about real life from what you see on TV.

Gay is not catchy. It has always been with the human race and always will be. I do however get your concerns about in-your-face issues.

Personally I view being gay kind of like pistachio ice cream. Most people prefer chocolate, vanilla, or strawberry. A minority prefers something different. That's ok. No one is forcing pistachio ice cream on me.

According to the laws of redneckism, you are either with us or against us. This comment of yours exemplifies your position as a defender of the iniquitous practice of the bestial acts of these virulent SODOMITES. Therefore, you are a sodomite. Even worse, you are a jellyfish sodomite, too much of a coward to just admit that you are infected with the d*****t disease of this degenerate lifestyle. It's because within your dead heart there remains the undeniable t***h that reminds you that you are a source of this ever spreading perversion. Were it not true, you would condemn this perversion as any sane individual does. You are an open book Apatoo Nee Nee.

Just what do you mean "nobody's forcing their choice on you? All negative comments on homosexual behavior is "h**e speech" The schools are forcing graphic descriptions of homosexual acts on the children, churches are not allowed to teach that homosexual behavior is a sin without the "Gay agenda" being forced down their throats, now they are pushing for t*********r persons to be admitted to out military. The activists are forcing the boy Scouts to allow open and actively homosexuals as boy scouts and are demanding homosexuals be welcomed as scout leaders. Homosexual marriages, marriages of three or more people per marriage are on the table , one of three women has already been performed. Even though the rate of damage to the children raised by two same sex people is significantly higher than happens in married heterosexual couple families, adoption agencies are not allowed to discriminate against same sex pairs for adoptions. If you support heterosexual marriage (traditional marriage as has been the norm for hundreds of years) you can be fired from your job, or refused employment.
AND YOU DON'T THINK THAT HOMOSEXUAL PERVERSION IS BEING FORCED DOWN OUR THROATS. What other universe are you living in?
